I would love it if someone made a map where all the hiding spots start open. I think it would be confusing for the team to keep track of what was a hiding spot and what wasn't.

Also, I spent last night with a couple friends having some drinks (Monday is our Saturday) and I showed them all Catarinth because we're all metalheads (I love the amount of metalheads in this area of Denver it's amazing) and everyone basically dubbed me the official dj for the night because they liked Catarinth so much so I just put all of it on a loop haha.

Really enjoying this version of Hide and Seek. Having to move every two minutes and having the seeker change really adds an interesting dynamic to the game. Plus... I just love the banter!
This was awesome! And the maps are always fresh - that's quite amazing. I still kind of miss the very very first hide and seek in the mall where you were less experienced and hiding in plain sight was a common thing and actually worked. I feel like this new hide and _freeze_ recaptures some of that magic but with more action and fewer parts edited out, so that's a win alright!
This was one of the most entertaining yet! Everyone go tell the devs they need to add Hide and Seek to challenge mode, and don't forget a Hide and Freeze version!
I'm calling Moonbo the winner here. He was the seeker first both of these Hide and Freeze games. And that is a big disadvantage in this game mode. He automatically gets extra time despite not being found that first time.
I like the regular hide and seek, its little more chill and relax, and it matters if you find a really good spot, instead of having to move soon as you get in it. it kinda doesn't feel like hide and seek, but that's just me, I've been binge watching all the hide and seek episodes from old to new like 3 times. its my favorite playlist for scrap mechanic.
Suggestion for multiplayer Monday: trailmakers 2v2 Space station vs. figher crafts. Space stations are immobile but have two layers of shielding and hemispheres of weaponry so both players on a team act as gunners, and the fighters are limited to two or three blasters each. No missiles or EMPs to avoid taking out shields too quickly. The space station is designed with input from both players on a team while fighters are designed by the player piloting them. Feel free to change anything you want or need to about the suggestion.
There's times when I wonder if ya'all (Scrap, KaN, Moon) watch each other's Vids after the fact to try to get a better idea of how the others play, trying to figure out how to better predict and anticipate each others potential moves in future Matches...
For turning on the hud, I would also count things that technically aren't hiding spots, such as if you decide to hide in an open room, but only if you're truly planning on using it as a hiding spot (not just as a vantage spot) (of course, you are still allowed to leave it early if the situation calls for it).
Once again going to suggest a different type of hide and seek/scavenger hunt where you use someone elses workshop creation, and then hide 1 or multiple things on that creation, signed with a unique identifier such as the stabilizer mug. Then, once everything is hidden, everyone simultaneously search for each other's hidden creations.
Hey I have an idea for a new hide and seek concept. So here me out what if the seeker every hint gets to say "Stop" and the hider have to stop and hide to the place near/first switch he finds, you do this every single hint time. The hiders could only move every hint until the seeker says stop. (The first 2 minutes the hider could go anywhere)
Kan might not have had 100% fun rate playing but I certainly had 100% fun rate watching. Really enjoy this mode, though Moonbo was at a disadvantage by starting
You ought to try hide & seek on an entire sandbox map. Randomly select map tiles from the workshop and place them in a map. Maybe by taking turns with the others with placing them. Also, you'll need to build a vehicle and stay in it (unless you get stuck or something)
mm idea: could you guys set up a tower defense area or maze with towers of tapebots (like the glass car evolution challenge) and glowbugs randomly placed, and make cars out of only cardboard (wheels too?) and have to navigate to the end? whoever makes it the furthest or finishes fastest. if its too hard evolve the car every time. if its too easy each player adds a tower and or glow bugs every turn
That’s why you ask if everyone had fun before tallying the score. If you ask after, than (as you just experienced) only the winner “admits” to having had fun. (More often than not. And most of the time in my experience)
Hide and seek idea: Hide and Seek where the seeker has three total hints: turn on hud in a chosen direction, spud gun, voice hint. They are allowed to ask for a hint whenever they want, however once they use a hint they can no longer use that hint. Making it so they need to strategically use their 3 different hints to find players
New idea... HIDE or SEEK! Time limit: 15...something or 10... Everyone's hud is off... As a hider you can hide for as long as they don 't catch you... After you get found you, while hitting you with a hammer you will join the seeker team... But if a hider shoots you, you can hide again...
Just came up with a thought. Hide and Seek mixed with a capture the flag. Whoever has the flag is the hider. Person with the flag after 20-30 mins is the winner.
I know you want to keep the maps fresh and new, but I think you should consider redoing old maps in this format, so people actucally have a chance to hide in spots because they know where a few are.
I just realized that Kan caught Scrapman in the Blacksmith's yard and shortly after that Scrapman caught Kan in the same place except Kan was stuck on the fence

Made the same mode but the moment you stop moving you stop moving for the hole 2 minutes.... whenever you stop...even to check if the hunter looking at you

I'm loving the freeze tag twist, and this map is very well done... switches are tricky to find, which is both good and bad.

Block limit for fighters and stations. Fighters have no shields to make it easier as static vs mobile is very hard forvstatic.
