Such a beautiful color
Nice colour of the flower, here in india i am not sure whether other colours are available or not. I have a baby plant which will bear white flowers.
Beautiful. I mostly keep Schlumbergera though I'm trying one Epi this year. I notice they're budding the same time as my Rhipsalidopsis Schlumbergera (Easter Cactus), so I hope they will be significantly different. The Rhipsa has has a multitude of flower buds, whereas the Epi has a few.
Very nice .... I wish I could find more colors I have 3 different colors
That's a nice calm orange color. So, how do they smell? Are you growing the sprouts? I liked it. Thanks
thanks for sharing. Could you pls advise how long it take from bud stage to flowering?
krisantini1 Hi, this type of Epi, takes about 4 to 5 weeks to bloom from when the buds first start to emerge. Some of the Epiphyllums can take a shorter time or longer time to have a bud develop into a blooming flower. With Epis, there are so many types of flower size, shape and color, that your buds time to flower can vary. Thanks for watching.
Do you use fertilizer to get a lot of blooms?
I have kept the plant.bud is seen.

if your plants are large enough, than they should be able to bloom.
Things that should help:
1. Check your fertilizing routine and or add fertilizer as needed.
2. If your plants have been in the same spot, try putting them in a new spot, with more sunlight or indirect sunlight.
3. During the hotter months make sure they are getting adequate water.
Different varieties flower at different times, some varieties can bloom through out the year. Good Luck
Keep them root bound
Reduce light time in winter
Start using bloom boost fertilizer in late winter/early spring.
Yes. thank you Merman Kai, excellent tips. This Epi (in the video) is currently starting to bud this year again. Although, I will admit much neglect and a harder winter have contributed to my plants having seen better days. If you have Epi or Cacti and spring is in the air, you may want to inspect your plants for buds.
@@ProjectPitaya Hi! I thought these only bloom from midnight to dawn.
