I’m just gonna put this here before i finish the video, Decker (68) with video proof and confirmation in an after game interview said he did in fact tell the ref that he was trying to become an eligible receiver. The WR to the left was also behind the line negating any dumbass comment about it being an illegal formation instead. Skipper (70 and the one the refs trying to say went up to him to become eligible) was not even the other person that walked up and the entire play was designed for 68. Truly an embarrassment from the refs and the NFL, Lions were robbed.
So buddy there were 2 penalties thrown. 1 was on decker for not reporting because he clearly didn’t. and if your gonna say he did, the linemen next to him (which was 70 who actually applied as eligible) was covered making it illegal formation as well with illegal touching by 68. 2 penalties called on the lions, they had 2 more plays to take the PAT and go to OT. From there own 7 they had a free play and Goff still threw a pick. Had a Second attempt from their two yard line too convert and again Goff fucked up. All comes down to play calling not going for 2 three times when ur down 1 🙂🙂.

While the refs wasn’t paying attention, and definitely messed up, you can also blame Goff’s interceptions that got points for the cowboys and that horrible pass on that 3rd attempt for the 2PT. Their coach being aggressive and not going for the XP after the call. Either way, the lions are still going to the playoffs so this game doesn’t affect anything.

On the cowboys last drive the refs called tripping on Dallas, that was a mistake, they meant to call it on the defense and did not correct that mistake. If they get that right Detroit doesn't even get the ball back.

The Lions planned it as to where they’d have #70 Dan Skipper report all game then switch it up for a trick play if they needed it. The play they told the refs about BEFORE the game. So the ref reported #70 was eligible because he was lazy, then they called it that #68 Taylor Decker wasn’t the one that reported but he caught the pass. It’s a total crock of sh*t.
The Lions had 2 opportunnities to tie the game, they choose to try the convertion of 2 points, all the fault it's on the coach

He said 70 (Skipper) reported to him, when he was on the otherside of the field. 68 (Decker) and Sewell was in his face declaring himself as eligible. The ref got it wrong. Whether he mixed up the numbers or not. It was wrong.

Wait? So Decker, the left tackle, even if he was eligible, can't be elegible because he was actually in his normal Left Tackle position. It he was in a Tight End position, he would be eligible. So yeah, technically it would of been illegal formation if he reported eligible and caught the ball anyway. At least that is my understanding.
No so if decker was the eligible receiver it was a legal formation because he was the furthest player on the line the wide receiver on his side was off the line while Dan skipper on the other side was not the furthest it was a legal formation if the decker was the eligible receiver but the ref blew who was eligible and him and his crew was punished.
@@tracehudson2621Ahhh, you may be correct. I believe you need at least 7 players on offense on the line of scrimmage, which would be the 6 O-lineman on the line and the WR on the right. The other O-lineman and the WR on the left can be behind scrimmage. Still, I've never seen that and even knew that was possible.

They screwed up saying 70 reported even though he never even talked to the ref and 68 was the one that reported to the ref. The commentators originally said that it would have been a illegal formation bc the refs said 70 reported. If 70 had reported then yes it would have been since he was covered but since 68 was actually the one that reported it wouldn’t have been bc his wr was off the line not covering him

The way i see it is as complete miscommunication dekker said reporting the ref turns and see’s skipper running back into the game who was reporting basically all game dekker should’ve communicated to the ref way better than that also when you’re reporting shouldn’t that be an almost immediate thing to do goff looked like he rushed dekker to get over there some confusion on his part perhaps? 🤷♂️

Juju probably won’t see this but since he asked… no there was no illegal touching. 68 reported to the refs that he was eligible, they said 70 did (there’s a video of 68 going up to the ref, ref nods his head, then runs away, 70 never even made it to the ref to speak to him) the play happens, the ref lies and says 70 reported not 68. Then they said that 68 was covered by a wr but he in fact was not. 70 was, but he didn’t get a pass thrown to him. 68 was on the line, the wr was off the line not covering him. The refs sold. And for everyone saying “went for it 3 times and still didn’t get it should have taken the extra point” lick my nuts. They never would have had to go for it any more times if the dumbass refs didn’t call it right on the first attempt.
