I teach primary school band. This year and last we had to record our winter concerts because of covid. The coment at the end about choosing the best one is exactly right! Also, pattern for those hats would be awesome.
Great version of a song I've only recently discovered. Great hats too. Perhaps an origami type instructional video ready for next winter solstice would go down well.
This must have been for some sort of college music class. It's fucking weird but I love this song and well...they don't fuck it up. And as big a Tull as I am....they should take that as high praise!

That was brilliant, lovely harmonies.
Fantabulous! Headgear and percussive ending and all. Love it!
A blessed solstice to you, Rachel! 11 years on and we still love a paper hat and a sing...
Very nice. Love the "William of Normandy" headware! With a song from Ian Anderson and Jethro Tull you can not go wrong.
Happy Winter Solstice, guys. Love this song more than you know and you guys are the only ones brave enough to cover it on the whole internet
not the only ones... ua-cam.com/video/yO79vpCSOIU/v-deo.html
You are welcome though as it’s been pointed out we are not alone - we love this song too!
I keep coming back to this vid. It's marvellous in every way.
Beautiful. Thank you!

Very cool.
Also you should post a how-to-make on those hats.
Excellent stuff
Parabéns! Bravo
Good Solstice to ya!
ps...I want one of those hats. It was like watching the early days of Peter Gabriel and Genesis
This deserves so many more views than 697. Good luck lads, this is a fantastic interpretation of a classic. Everyone should share this!
Great cover lads. Well done!
I like your party-hats ;-)
Good stuff chaps.
Hurray!!!

wow
Love this version - but why are they all dressed up as Jeremy Corbyn?
Not sure, but I have always thought that it is "holly oak" ( the evergreen oak, Quercus ilex) rather than " holy oak", but both make sense.
It's holy but they are so damn adorable they get a total pass from me.
I have the songbook for Songs From The Wood... it is indeed "holly oak".
could please upload, moth, one brown mouse, please?
