    Clever. I added height to my 2-pack Superman (from the Ultraman pack) by doing the neck peg swap and swapped pelvis’s to one with a longer peg.

    Thanks for sharing. I just did the hip peg mod on my Martian Manhunter. That along with a couple of other mods I did he is now the tallest member of my JL.

    Yes the thighs are the main issue. Do not match at all. Ive been customizing for years and id always swap out the tighs. Immediately makes a world of difference

      Yeah it would interesting to talk to one of the sculptors at McFarlane just to mention the proportions thing. I wonder if he has in-house sculptors or if he hires freelance 3D artists. Thanks for watching!

    You did a great job, looks much better! I agree about short upper legs/thighs. Page Puncher/Classic light blue Superman has pretty muscular thighs that could work but will need paint, I wish McFarlane themselves would mix those parts and give us well proportioned Superman for once.

      It took them a few tries to finally nail down Batman with the Hush mold and then the Knightfall figure. Eventually they'll figure out a definitive Superman. Thanks for watching!

    I actually did something similar to my rebirth Batman’s torso. I took the peg from superboy prime. It actually ended up being too long so I trimmed it down. His torso looks more proportionate now.

    This really helpful! I wonder if you can do this to the Zach Snyder’s Justice League Batman. He’s so short.

      The leg extension for sure; the neck peg has to fit, the McFarlane pieces aren't all universal so you have to have the right one. The torso depends, split the figure and see if it has a similar one to how I explain in the video. Thanks for watching!

    I see the Three Jokers Batman is your favorite buck to dissect. 😂
    Can't deny it's a good sculpt and proportions are good.
    Edit: Can you just put something inside those sockets instead of putting back the pegs anxiously?

    • @erickshobbiesncustoms5775
      @erickshobbiesncustoms5775  7 місяців тому

      At the time the Three Jokers was the best basic Batman figure but I only got two; the Hush mold is similar but I like it better overall. Those I do have each version but only one of each, only because they're harder to find. Thanks for watching!

    • @erickshobbiesncustoms5775
      @erickshobbiesncustoms5775  7 місяців тому

      And yes you could put something inside the socket to prevent the plugs from sinking further. I would just make sure it's reversible in case you change your mind about the mods.

    Would you know of any mods to remove ratchets on ankles and make them more stable?

    • @erickshobbiesncustoms5775
      @erickshobbiesncustoms5775  6 місяців тому

      I have never done them but have seen others do them. Just warm the pegs and split them apart when the plastic gets soft. Either with a Dremel or an x-acto cut the ratchets. My fear with this mod is if the pegs arent tight to begin with then you'll have loose ankles and your figure will have a hard time staying upright.

    The problem with that figure is that the legs and arms are too short and thin for the body. To increase the height to a figure with that mold and not look disproportionate, what I did was to give my Superman Rebiert figure the arms, legs and breeches of the Superman DKR having my version of a big and imposing Superman.

    • @erickshobbiesncustoms5775
      @erickshobbiesncustoms5775  9 місяців тому

      Yeah it's a figure that wasn't quite planned out too well. Honestly I'm not the biggest Superman fan but I am a Jim Lee fan, so I wanted a version of his Superman. The Mafex was sold out so this was my only alternative. Thanks for watching!

    I Don’t buy McFarlane because of their Overscaling 🤔

    • @erickshobbiesncustoms5775
      @erickshobbiesncustoms5775  9 місяців тому

      Well, if you did buy McFarlane then they would be (sorta) in scale with each other lol. But i understand what you mean, they dont fit in with Hasbro Marvel Legends and other 6" figures. But lots of other lines don't all scale with each other, much like when most of these popular lines released in the 80s. MOTU was 5.5", Kenner Star Wars and GI Joe were 3.75", Transformers was all over the place. Thanks for watching!
