- Today I'm just sharing a few images of my two custom kitbash McFarlane DC Multiverse Superman action figure made from the Action Commic 1000 and DC Comics Rebirth body bucks.

The Action 1000 kitbash is great because the proportions are more even now compared to the retail original. Hopefully Todd can use that design with future Superman figures since he doesn't need to modify any of the existing tooling.
Both kitbashes are near perfection, but I vote for the one on the left. That’s what I did, and it was my first kitbash 🙂. I just love to see Superman jacked like that. The “V” shaped torso looks like Ivan Reis’ Supes come to life. Yeah, the S could be a bit bigger, but it still looks great. Would be curious to see if the S emblems between the two can be swapped. I just started collecting some McFarlane figures and I saw this Superman you made and liked it quite a bit. I think that the proportions are just right for Superman and almost makes him look more lean. Superman is strong but he’s also fast and I think the figure you made on the right highlights it perfectly.
I can’t wait to give this a go when my 1k Superman arrives.
I'm more for a bigger Superman. I don't actually mind the smaller symbol

I kind of like the one with the Action Comics 1000 torso. I feel like the first is a touch too big for my taste. Both do still look quite good.
Option 2 is much better in my opinion. The torso and neck of the Rebirth Superman are too thick. The neck especially is giving Bane vibes.
I have always been a huge Fan of the large S shield on the chest. So i love the one with the large S shield. Great work!👍👌👏
I like both, I personally only did the one on the left. But yours is probably better but more work lol. But worth it. Now all you got to do is show us a vid on how to do the one on the right lol. And for me, the legs look like the same for both.

I think the one on the right using the Action comics 1000 torso is better, though both look great. I like the original Cape for the action comics superman more than the rebirth one though. Using that would have made this perfect to me

I wish I could post photos on comments lol I used your kitbash as a template: I used your leg method with thighs from rebirth and calves 1000, but I used the torso and longer cape from 1,000, I used the rebirth arms and their respective armpit circle covers, and the rebirth head. I kept the midsection of the 1,000 because I like how it helps to make him look taller. If I do find a way to post them, I will add link here! Thanks so much Brad, I LOVE LOVE my new figure!
you should really do your best to pull the peg from the DC rebirth chest out a single click to get the most out of it. Really helps with the articulation and overall scale of the figure to feel less squished
the second one is the one I prefer it more classic Superman body of the silver/ bronze age of comics.
I got my McFarlane swamp thing figure and he's way bigger then I expected him to be. But he might be the best McFarlane figure in my opinion to date for his DC line. Solid joints, nothing is loose unlike my others. Great sculpt work, no cq issues. He stands upright on his own. Would of prefered he came with any kind of extra accessories considering his price jump. The dumb blade hand is a pointless accessory. Some fists and an alternate head with the long hair look would of been great. I'm curious to see your review and your thoughts on it
I just got rebirth Superman and it’s so funny everywhere I look now I see kitbashes of him.

The supes on the right has better body proportion, but I like the S from the left. Greater kitbashes both.

Certainly the one where the an crunch doesn’t intruders on the symbol. An crunches are good and all but can take away from the figures especially ones with emblems.

FANTASTIC KITBASH!!! I did the same with my Superman except my Rebirth mid torso just wont fit onto the 1000 upper torso. Did you have any issues with this?
I did the left one but with the Superman 1000 arms

you should repaint the Solar Suit Superman crotch piece (it has an S) and then give it to one of these!
Hey Brad, love the channel. How well do the shades of blue on these two Superman figures match up? Can you swap legs and arms without it being noticeable?
Nice! I had done the one on the left but I think the one on the right is even better but im definitely going to leave the action comics 1000 cape on the upper torso because I like that cape a lot more. Where did you swap the ac supes legs onto the rb supes thighs? Witch knees are connected to those thighs, the original knees or the action comics knees?
Right definitely better although left is probably more comic accurate in size it just looks weird so right definitely
The one on the right looks a bit better I think, the other one’s torso, neck, and shoulders are so broad and wide it makes his head look tiny in comparison
Did u just mix and match the parts or did u also add some repaint?
How did you managed to swap the arms from the torso the action 1000? Are all mcfarlane compatible to swap whatever body parts you want?
Both are cool in their own way but the one on the right is overall best. It’s sad you have to create your own figure since McFarlane Toys can’t get it right.
You say that you used "the arms" from the Rebirth Superman on the Action Comics 1000 torso... Does that include the shoulders, or did you pull it apart & connect them at the bicep cut? It would be good to know for anyone trying to emulate your great customs.

Well, as I'm not a millionaire to buy two figures and take a huge risk to disassemble them, what I would do would be to take only the Superman Rebiert and paint his boots, underpants and belt to have a more classic style. so you save money and don't risk so much, right?
You kept the same dinky cape on both. Why not use the Superman 1000 cape. That's what I did.
what about maybe a kindaish reborn costume Sups? can it be made?
I wish I bought them but I only got the animated and Henry figures I like the Henry I glanced at the comic 1000 didn't know what it was but I bought my friend Batman comic 1000 for his birth day I also bout him jokers prank box and he loves them

Ok ok hear me out, take the one you created and keep everything the same EXCEPT use the torso of the Death Metal Superman. The custom i've been thinking about making myself for weeks now is very similar to the one you made, but my version would use the Death Metal Superman torso and the beefy legs that are gonna be on the upcoming Dark Knight Returns Superman figure.
Both needs beefier legs. I'd say DKR Superman may be the definitive Superman body but, unfotunately, is too stylized to be "realistic"
