Hi Chandler. I see this tool with other eyes now. Thank you for that. Great video. As I am not a guitarist do I get this right? At first you put your guitar or epiano or whatever into a guitar amp and second step is to put this signal into the cabinet? If you got four example a fender amp, am I right that this is the amp and cabinet in one unit? Would it make sense to put MCabinet on the last step of the chain then? Thank you in advance.
Yes, that’s correct. This would be the last step in the chain. Of course you can add reverb or something after it if you want though. This comes after the amp.
@@Chandlerguitar Wow. I already got astonishing results yesterday putting AASs Strum2 through Kazrogs True Iron into a virtual Fender emulation from SKnote and then fed everything into Meldas MCabinet and analyzed the Kazrog Recab IR collection. Wow, amazing. I took it a step further and replaced the virtual guitar with an analog synth and finished the chain with MXXX doing very crazy modulation so everything sounded like from a very torn out fractured tape recording. Endless sound design possibilities. MCabinet is a great plugin. Thank you very much and have a joyful time.
@@nichttuntun3364 Glad to hear it. There are all sorts of things that can be done with it. I'll try to show some more creative uses for it in the future.
@@Chandlerguitar Okay, thanks. I just realized something, this is a "profiler", but can you keep your IR, non-profiled, and use all other functions: tilt, EQ, smoothing on the IR, etc?
I think I didn't ask the question right. Can you use a copy of the original IR with all of its organic properties, or is it a mock profile of the original? If it's a mock, that means it won't include other fine properties, such as the cabinet resonance? I know you can add just about anything later, but my ideal application would be to use the EQ, smoothing, tilt, etc on a copy of the original IR with original resonance, etc, but optionally create synthetic cab IRs, because that is a great feature.

@@Chandlerguitar cool :)
Hi! If you have some ideas, how to make IR's less '' static '' , using this plug in, please include this into your next vid!
I'll try to do that I 2-3 weeks. Good idea.
How many EQ bands, I see 5 +HP/LP? Is it real time (zero latency, manual doesn't specify)? Undo/redo?
Yes it's 5 bands plus hp/lp. Yes it is real time with no added latency. Yes it does have undo. I hope that helps.

Yes, it doesn't alter the original IR, so you can make a new IR and you don't have to worry about ruining the old one.

Useful!
Thanks. I'll have another video about this is a few hours.
