I have a similar issue that used to be as severe as ts but w constant physio I got it to be somewhat in a neutral position. My issue is finding that dorsiflexion now which is so important for basketball to be essentially less stiff. However it’s been stuck in this neutral position bc I can’t stretch it past that no matter how hard I try, my knee will cave in or my heel will reach but my knee don’t go past my toe at all. Do I need surgery cus doctors considered
Sounds like restrictions in your ankle are causing the other symptoms you noted. Surgical intervention could be your best option. If you choose that route, i suggest you make sure your surgeon has done quite alot of successful surgeries on this condition. for your best outcome.
