Now our soundset avaliable in SYSEX and VST format for free plugin from Full Bucket: You can download plugin here for FREE: www.fullbucket.de/music/fb7999.html Soundset is here: lfo.store/shop/hardware-synths/korg-dw-8000/analog-pearl/ This song made 100% with DW-8000 Hardware & Full Bucket FB-7999 Vst Synth
This, along with his Crumar Bit One emulation, sound 99% the same as the hardware. Don't be put off by the fact that they are free, or his website looks like it is from 2001. Arturia or Roland could only dream of getting their emulations so close. I can't speak for his other synths, but you don't need to worry about accuracy with the DW8000 and Bit One emulations. It'd take some very good ears to tell them apart in a dry A/B comparison, and they're practically identical in a mix.
I am still having problems getting this to work on my PC. I download the thing which only appears as a .dll. If I drag that .dll to my VST folder. none of my DAWs can locate it. As someone who dreamed of owning a DW8000 when they came out, I was glad that there was this VST. However, I still cannot own this version. PLEASE, HELP ME!

Great patches for a great vst!
Very good like always.
mr mr used dw8000 they use the arp inside this synth . is no access to the arp enginein this vst?
Does the VST sound close to the hardware? Or do the patches sound different hard vs soft?
Sounding very close.
Small difference in bottom end - like always in comparsion hardware vs software
