I was very young when I first heard the Lost and lonely days from Warlord. I didn't know anything about Mark back then but I remember that this drummer and his style made big impression to me. The beat was something else, clear, strong, passion. I kept listening the song for the drums! Mark still is my favorite.
Wow, another vocal track other than Ray Alder? That does not sound like Matheos or Aresti either. No way that is them. That just shows how brilliant everyone is in the group. Jim and Frank have definitely not received the proper accolades, but that is, perhaps, a blessing to the fans, and the music. Jim is one of the most prolifically great songwriters/composers I have ever beheld.
Portnoy made some stupid comment on how he lacks feel but I can go track by track with Mark's works and it would blow Portnoy away. Mark has way more feel and style and ear candy IMO.
I remember what happened to me when i first listened to him in "Perfect Symmetry"...Totaly blown out...He is one of the best ever...!!!!
Never a dull moment with this guy. There's always something interesting going on. Love Mark's work on the cymbals in those tracks.
One of the most underrated drummers of all time. Mark fucking rocks.
Never in my life have I heard anyone that could keep up with and possibly dethrone Neil Peart. Except The masterful Mark Zonder.
drums composer with a great taste of music!!! well done Mr Zaonder!!! Greetings from 🇬🇷
Love his playing. He's one of the best drummers that I'm aware of. Missed you on the Theories of flight tour. Bobby was great too.

same, i start listening Warlord for his drumming, and i had a mind blow for the Aliens playing. i brake many many sticks for this song.
Wow. That much power using traditional grip. Parallels is still my all time favorite album by any band.
2 Of My Favorite Tracks From The Parallels Record...Coincidentally Placed In That Order...
Those sizzles on "point of view" are absolutely sharp and clean asf.
είσαι μεγάλος παιχταράς αγόρι μου!

What a Badass...Mark's wallet probably says "Bad MutherFucker"
😎👍💓🇺🇸⚡🥁💪💣🎼🔊))🔥 MARK!!!
Fucking insane🔥🔥🔥🤘🏿🤘🏿🤘🏿
Is that Greg Analla on vocals?
Fucking Beast 🤘
60subs is crazy for the best drummer in Rock period. Most Rock drummers cannot play anything out of the 4/4 time signatures.
is that Gregg Analla ? on vocals?
Ray Alder
@@palerider364 Definitely not.
Its Ray Alder. His tight and stiff larynx and all.
Zonder rox my sox

Mark rulez as always, but I'd prefer this piece only instrumental rather than hearing a guy trying to step into Ray's boots... suicidal mission man!
