    Truth. Nothing like walking into a job everyday and negative vibes just hit you through the doorway. It’s hard to stay motivated and work hard, when you feel everyone around you is taking advantage of the “workhorse” mentality. It drains the soul.

    • @roselandpetals
      @roselandpetals Місяць тому +3

      Times are changing and people are opening up to stop this mentality though. Life is short and we've been trained to spend so much of it being loyal to toxic, trash employers out of a weird sense of duty. Screw that. If they treat you like crap ANYWHERE plan an exit strategy.

    The answer is gratitude! It can be as woo woo or spiritual or religious as you like. It can be just thanking the random series of circumstances that took you to that point.
    It can be about a good coffee, sitting under a tree on a hot day, ANYTHING! ideally say it aloud.
    TRY IT FOR A WEEK!
    Gratitude brings ypu to the present moment. No past no future. I didn't think it would work - but it does. It's free, takes less that 20 seconds and day ❤

    be yourselves people.. our anger or depression is a sign to us of what to avoid etc.. it's not good to suppress our feelings, it's best to pay attention to them and to adjust course
    if you feel depressed don't just avoid feeling it.. try to focus on building what you want to get closer to
    Robbins SOUNDS confident but his personal life has been a real mess quite often so maybe just be yourselves and trust your own feelings and opinions

    Three patterns you focus on first:
    1. Have/ have not
    2. Can control/cannot control
    3. Past/present/future
    So I guess we create new beneficial patterns by consciously focusing on what we have, can control and what is(present).

    I'm focusing on the present because my future is effed up by my past, so the present is all I have.
