As a guy who grew up with Prodigy and Suburban Base Records vinyls, this Groove Machine is a dream comes true. Excellent work Jim Audio. I can't wait to put my fingers on it.

Best app I've bought for a long time. Works flawlessly on an iPad mini. Was gonna give it a miss coz, I Didn't think it would, it would be nice if one of the omissions from the tribe were included I.e. Being able to shift a pattern backwards/forwards. And a first step option too would be good too

Any chance of getting an ext line in channel as this is slowly becoming the hub of my productions, I would love to process live guitars and vocals through the fluid trouble free effects. Much thanks
Having had this for several days now here are a few of my recommendations for future development:
1. Midi out/sync for interfacing and controlling/syncing with hardware.
2. 1 extra mix effect and some freely assignable LFOs per pattern.
3. Synth Patch Saving/Library. This is where you can get a genuine leg up from the hardware electribes. Allow patch saving/naming. This would also allow you to sell synth patch DLC.
4. Kit saving. Save the setup and parameters for all 16 pads as a kit. If I do D&B or Ambient or EDM I'm going to want different basic configs to start my new patterns from.
Apart from this its golden and I love the general ease of use :)

Sorry for the upcoming swearing, but GR-16 is fucking amazing!! Wow, the sound quality is top notch and it seems like an easy to work with groovebox & synthesizer. Really consider now to purchase it in the App Store. Great, really, really great!!!!!!!!!

Are there any plans in the future for Poison to have Link? I suppose I could just allow an AU host to have Link but I more commonly open up my apps standalone.

jimpavloff Poison has an arpeggiator with impressive rhythmic patterns. When I play it standalone I find myself holding a nice rhythmic pattern but then if I decide to open a drum app to sync with it, I'd have to sync it the old fashioned way.
Additionally, Poison has an LFO with the option to sync it to note intervals.
I guess the Arpeggiator is the only primary feature I wish there was Link for. When I think more about it, to have Link for one single feature such as this would not really be worth the additional work.
On the topic of Poison, I wish there was an option for one of the LFO's to modulate Pitch for Osc 1, 2 or 1&2. I was playing with osc sync and I loved the first couple Sync presets which make use of the Pitch envelope. I wanted to have a continuous sync modulated sound using one of the LFO's but the LFOs would affect the pitch on both oscillators, not allowing me to do that osc sync mod effect by modulating only Osc 2.
Love it! Can you add midi in so I can connect my korg nanopad2 please? and a solo button by the pads instead of going to the mixer?
Midi In will be added in the next update. You can do solo now from the main page, by holding MUTE button and pressing a pad.
jimpavloff can't wait for that then! Will be good when I can use my nanopad2 with it and if the touchpad works as well then it will be like an electribe2.
I don't know if it's me but triggering using the touchpad is a bit hit and miss, only works sometimes. I will check the manual.

Is there a manual? Does the synthesizer have features that Poison 202 does not have? Can you import Poison 202 presets?
There will be a manual soon, it's not ready yet. Since Poison-202 is not a groove box their presets are incompatible.

I would love it if I could figure out how to load new sounds. I used to have an electribe, so why is this so much more difficult?
Bought this app yesterday, one issue I have is if I make a 2 bar pattern then extend it to 4 bars, it automatically copies bar 2 into bar 3 & 4. How do I get it to copy bar 1 to bar 3 & bar 2 to 4?
That seems like a bug. I'll check that out, and if so, will fix it in the next update.

tell me how to sync my electribe 2 with groove rider.?i just want groover rider recieve midi for beat sync and start stop button nothing else.
when it is midi in connected it recieve everything from my electribe and pattern changes. it would be nice if that can be separeted in settings

Thanks for your interest in developing GR-16! I can say for now that from your list I'm interested to include a Song mode as a new feature. The parameter structure of GR-16 is well thought in detail, so for the other features you've mentioned, they fall outside the concept of such comparably easy-to-use and simple groove box app, and probably will be included into another, more complex future projects from me.
