테이크원 제데로 들어본건 처음인데 리얼한게 개쩐다 뭔가 감동적 영상 3번돌려본건 처음이네
Many people explain the song.... but I also add some explaination..
Take one is affected by VJ(Verbal jint)
So he quotes the VJ's lyrics(Ignorance, envy and anachronism I resemble historical reactionaries) and next some bars are transform this bar.
But Take one has a feeling that dissappointed about changing VJ's thiking and behavior so Take one said "I naively believed it all, I believe all of those words, they had led me to this day, attracted me, but before I knew it a decade had flown by and having grown up, finally, in the same place I stood the face to face no diffrent than I just as cowardly always compromising like I had done realizing that you're no diffrent"
But take one also think that he resemble the VJ now. "No, in truth, I'm not at all alike, I was actually no diffrent I also gave in to reality, hid in silence, my words slowly tainted that I feel like, I can no longer distinguish what diffences are still left in me, they're blurring out but before its change, before its compromise, the impression of your(VJ) still ingraines in my mind"
Last verse, have a crusing sound in the and of the verse.. that sound is suicide of take one's spirit and end of the song be heard ambulance sound(small sound so listen carefully ).
So this song is basically about TakeOne's idol, Verbal Jint.
VJ released an album named "Accusation" in 2008. That album is a fucking masterpiece. Seriously, it's still like one the TOP 3 albums of all Korean hiphop history.
That album literally talks about how he had been "accused" and hated from listeners and other fake rappers, and that album has inspired tons of listeners and artists here in Korea, including TakeOne.
The verse that keeps showing up in this song that goes like "ignorance, envy, anachronism..." is from a part of VJ's song in the Accusation album. In 2008 VJ was like the vanguard, the one and only. And this song "Blackout", released about a decade later, shows disappointment to VJ who changed and compromised in TakeOne's perspective, and also to TakeOne himself who in the end was not much different from others who compromised.

The first lyrics “Ignorance, envy -” is actually a hommage to vj(verbal jint). In his song “Cunning Wisdom of History”, vj disrespects all the rappers who still spit old days’ rap. And the album concluding this song became a bible of korean hip-hop since then.
트렌디한 힙합도 되게 좋아하지만 역시 진솔한 이야기를 담은 음악을 가장 좋아하네요 nun👊

I am so glad that you listen to the Take One music.
I personally think there is no such a great rapper as the one who took a Korean hip-hop music.
I think his writings are the same, but his musical beliefs have not changed.
His mix tape came out in 12 years, and I've never done anything since.
So I thought I was lazy, and Kendrick Lamar control came to Korea
I then recontrol and then came up with a green idea four years later.
I really have a lot of time waiting for a long time as a fan of Take One.

I'm quite surprised that you didn't hear albums of Verbal Jint. I would recommend Verbal Jint's album 'false charge(누명: Noo-Myeong)' The hook and last verse of this song refers Verbal Jint's verse in that album. Plus I wanna add that the album is thought to be the most valauble album by many Korean hiphop fans.

Hi Nun ! I'm big fan of you and K Hip Hop. I listened K Hip Hop for 10 years, and now, I think 'TAKEONE' is the best rapper of all korean rappers. I really love all the tracks of 'GREEN IDEOLOGY', which is the album of him, and I really want you to react all of the tracks because I think it is the best album of korea hiphop history. This track 'Blackout' is also one of the tracks in that album. All Verses of takeone (including featuring track verses) are really deep and dope. (He also participated in Show me the money season 1, and you can find the videos at youtube) Always watching your all videos and I love you. P. S. One thing that I'm worrying is that maybe there will be no english sub of his tracks. I think 'Takeone's best good point is his awesome lyrics. It goes beyond a simple remembrance but it talks about stranger living in the specific time and space, and self-reflection of himself at the moment.
Above all, although MV is black-and-white, this music video show scenery of Gwanghwamun and Seoul beautifully.
