중학생 때인가 고등학생 때인가 화나를 가면무도회로 처음 접했었는데 오늘 이노래 듣고 생각나서 다시 들었는데 진짜 아직도가사가 너무 쩔어...... 나온지 거의 10년된 곡인데

화나가 존경 받는 다른 이유는 영어를 많이 안쓰고 거의 한국어 만으로 가사를 구성함.. 사실 잘 알아 먹지도 못할 영어 섞어 놓으면 뭘 말하고 싶은지 모르는 부분도 있고 한데, 화나, 가리온, 이센스 같은 래퍼들은 한국인이 듣기에 가사 전달력 최고임.
화나는 피타입과 함께 한국을 대표하는 라임몬스터야.
이 두 사람은 동전 한 닢 part1에서 들어봐서 알거야.
얘는 매니아 사이에서 진짜 인정받는데, 특유의 톤하고 라임의 부담때문에 호불호는 갈려.
그 사람은 ‘ㅣ’, ‘ㅏ’만을 이용한 모음 라임을 해냈어.
알기 쉽게 말하면 오렌지로 라임 짜는걸 여러번 해낸 사람이라 말할수있어.

U will know them because of a Drop of Penny Remix Part 1.
He really admitted by many maniacs, but some people don’t like him because of his unique tone and the nervous of rhyme.
He made lyrics only use ‘I’, ‘A’ vowel rhyme, ‘A’, ‘O’ vowel rhyme etc.
Easy to say, he made a rhyme use the word ‘Orange’ several times.

Fana is one of the most decent rappers in korea.
especially, his rhyme and lyric is perfect.
he always devote himself to write lyrics.
he even read the korean dictionary 3 times for write lyrics.

Ju-hwan Lee decent is not a good choice of word in this situation. Best, or awesome can fit better...
Now you know why we said fana is rhyme monster. He never uses words for rhyme. He just writes what he wants to say and creates rhyme by accent and high class voca. His was in early 20s when he accompanied to PENNY, and he is end of 30s at this rap.
You can see depth of his lylics. Of course fana is famous for his deep phlosophy and natural rhymes that don't hurt the philosophy and rapping's mood, but especially this rap, power is a real masterpiece. It is because it's about his thought which is his most worried thing in these days.
Smtm is good program. It made korean hiphop major. Even foreign people like you, nun met korean hiphop by smtm. However on the other side, it poluted korean hiphop by its money and personal connections. Now no one can be secessed as a rapper without smtm. That means korean hiphop scene is handled by smtm or CJ, a giant company
Some rappers consisting fana are worring about this situation. So fana prepared a label named ugly junction. The album 'fanaconda' which the rap 'power' is belonged to was made similar time as ugly junction was built.
He wants power to protect his followers from money power from smtm. This is what I think he wanted to say in this rap.
Anyway, he is really good rapper. One of my most liked rapper also. One of his point is he has really wide musical spectrum. In every rap, he changes his color which fits perfectly for the beat.

Fana - rhymonic storm (prod. The q)
He made this rap while playing starcraft for fun. So there are so many words used in starcraft. First verse is only made by rhymes of 'air', and second verse is full of 'ee's. Third is... You gonna see. Anyway if you want to feel his rhyme, this will help you.
Fanaconda, the title of his lastest album, 'fanaconda' is also awesome.
Masquerade, where the worlds coming to are also one of masterpieces he made. I hope you keep react to his!

FYI, Fana has read through Korean dictionary over and over from a to z (or ㄱ to ㅎ I should say) to improve his vocabs. As you mentioned around 2:50, his lyrics aren't just like any other rappers in South Korea - not to diss them though. His choices on vocabs (in Korean) are just like Shakespeare's or, you know, something you would read in a piece of difficult literatures. I wish you would review more of his songs! I will get onto writing eng sub for 2 of Fana's track which are about: 1. his sincere wish for hip hop to become popular in S.Korea when it was not. 2. his despair when hip hop actually became super famous in S.Korea but it wasn't how he wanted to be. a.k.a. Show Me the Money and copycats.
By the way, I submitted Eng subs for E SENS - Down With You (demo) yesterday and I will let you know once it passes the committee's review!

If you listen to Fna's verse in Dynamic Duo's 'penny' again, you will found out that he wrote all of his lyrics in regularly repeated vowels. (e-a-e, e-a-e, ...)

I think that eng subs have error It’s “Seoleun mat” not “seoleun mal”. The former means ‘close to thiry’ or the ‘early thirty’ that i’ve known. But latter means end of thirty. he’s just 33 in western age
