Sir Good product. Yet have some drawbacks. We must hold more than one remote at a time. One for the MiTV (old 55), second for DTH and the third remote for Mi Box !!! How can I resolve it? 1).Why can't they add a menu/software in Mi Box to configure its Remote with Mi TV so as to avoid the TV remote? 2). Even the input selection of Mi TV can't be changed with the remote of Mi Box. (HDMI, AVI, USB etc). I have to use the TV remote to change the input from HDMI 1 to HDMI 2 or AVI. Remote of Mi Box has no role there. And if I want to change the TV channels, I must use the DTH remote !! They can simply overcome this drawback by a simple modification in the software of Mi box

I’m a 72-year old retired person. Along with my wife, we are now confined home because of lockdown. I‘m not a technical person and need your kind help. My Sony TV is connected to Chromecast but it has its own limitations. We do not have cable connection but have Airtel’s Xstream WiFi. Can I use MI Box 4K in our bedroom to watch English and Malayalam news channels? Please also suggest a soundbar that is of good quality but not expensive. You are doing a good job. God bless.

You should definitely check that out. Also with mi box u'll get alot more apps that you can stream content from. Connecting and setting up the mi box also is fairly simple. I purchased the Mi Box 4K, installed and sideloaded few Apps as per your guidance. I felt quite comfortable in that. Thanks. But, I am disappointed in the MAKE. You described it as INDIAN MAKE. I purchased from Mi. The item is "Made in China" and imported by Mi, Bangaluru. And I didn't get the Invoice for the item. Actually, I am supposed to get the Invoice along with the Mi Box 4K. I don't know why the Mi - Bangaluru didn't send.

Bro, Bought MI 4K box yesterday only. I face below weird issues in the box. 1) Onscreen keyboard doesn't works when i connect with mouse. 2) While playing netflix, i am unable to increase the sound from MI box remote itself, rather am using only the TV remote to reduce it. 3) While playing netflix, if i pause/ press back button and play it again, i am not getting sound. I need to go back to the home page of the netflix and search the movie and then only i am experiencing sound. 4) Last ques, I heard updating to the latest version will have issues ( sorry not sure what it is ). Hi Bro. I purchased MI box 4k and MI smart speaker. There was a combo offer and my plan was to use MI smart speaker as a bluetooth speaker. I was able to connect MI smart speaker to MI box via bluetooth. But the voice is not coming out of MI smart speaker. My old boat bluetooth speaker works perfectly with MI box. Why is this happening. Can I use MI smart speaker as a bluetooth speaker with MI box?

My mi box 4k issues... 1)I connected it with hdmi but when ever I switch on the box I need to set the quality to 4k always because it changes everytime even I chose any option like automatically select or direct 4k in settings 2) every time I connect my mobile hotspot 3/10 times it successfully connects but remaining times it shows connected but no interest then I need to switch off the box in switch board and then on again then it connects successfully... 3) bluetooth, though mi tv connects with my home theater bluetooth my mi box wouldn't connect, so I need to connect with tv and use tv remote for sound so problematic to use two remotes.... 4) It doesn't power off when I press power button in mi box remote instead it goes to sleep mode... Can any one help me with solutions for these plz.....

Nice review, but can this mi box remote change the TV's HDMI (switching to HDMI 1 from HDMI 2 or vice versa like we do from TV's original remote) because I have a Haier smart tv the remote and TV is super laggy atleast I have to press each buttons 5 times before I can select what I want. My question is can we change the HDMI with mi box remote like we do in TV's original remote and can the mi box remote control TV's power and volume?

My mi box 4k issues...
1)I connected it with hdmi but when ever I switch on the box I need to set the quality to 4k always because it changes everytime even I chose any option like automatically select or direct 4k in settings
2) every time I connect my mobile hotspot 3/10 times it successfully connects but remaining times it shows connected but no interest then I need to switch off the box in switch board and then on again then it connects successfully...
3) bluetooth, though mi tv connects with my home theater bluetooth my mi box wouldn't connect, so I need to connect with tv and use tv remote for sound so problematic to use two remotes....
4) It doesn't power off when I press power button in mi box remote instead it goes to sleep mode...
Can any one help me with solutions for these plz.....
Can i use it with other tv manufacturer or with Mi only
Does it works as a bluetooth receiver too ?? I am thinking of attaching to my amp.
