I just clear one thing and its very huge effect to buy one. I try both in different hdmi of my tv same time and play it side by side. In the same video the firestick done superb job. Other hand the mi box picture is too much soft and hide many details which firestick clearly shows. And firestick upscaling is far mor superior than mi box. Firestick produced sharp and extraordinary clear videos. Mi box soften videos and hide many objects behind its softness. Firestick and mi box both fast enough to play anything. But major difference in picture quality and object depth in movies or tv shows. Firestick also perform far batter in terms of clarity in apps and many ott and third party apps.Its remote is also very good and not feel like cheap plastic in mi box remote. Its has all buttons and one click to power off, volume and mute on tv also. U can use only one remote to run tv and stick. But mi box remote use with tv remote every time side by side. Sometimes its headache to many peoples. Thanks guys

@@kkkkn950 Bro i use both devices. Google assistant on Mi box misunderstood what i say most of the time and it's taking so much time to load things. I found Alexa performs better at launching apps and controlling content on Prime video, Netflix, UA-cam, JioCinema, etc.

Remember these are just media streaming devices, so you will be disappointed if gaming is your priority.

I brought mi 4k box on watching your review and got 1000 voucher as old mi tv 55 inch user, I am so happy with that ❤️.... My mi box 4k issues... 1)I connected it with hdmi but when ever I switch on the box I need to set the quality to 4k always because it changes everytime even I chose any option like automatically select or direct 4k in settings 2) every time I connect my mobile hotspot 3/10 times it successfully connects but remaining times it shows connected but no interest then I need to switch off the box in switch board and then on again then it connects successfully... 3) bluetooth, though mi tv connects with my home theater bluetooth my mi box wouldn't connect, so I need to connect with tv and use tv remote for sound so problematic to use two remotes.... 4) It doesn't power off when I press power button in mi box remote instead it goes to sleep mode... Can any one help me with solutions for these plz.....
Thanks for the great video. You forgot to mention that the MiBox 4K also have optic fibre out so you can connect it to a home theatre amp. You need an adaptor that plugs into the 3.5mm audio socket.

Hi! Are the Prime Video apps different on the Mi Stick and the Mi Box? I own a Mi Box 4K, and its prime video app doesn't have profile switching and smooth scrolling (It's not listed on the play store as well - just preinstalled). Whereas, I had read somewhere that the Mi Stick has a different version of prime video with a newer interface.

Also due to proper Google platform, I've been able to install 5-6 of games (not highgraphics like RR3, asphalt) and also several unofficial apps like Thoptv, Jiotv, etc. They work flawlessly along with pre-installed Netflix, Amazon video. The only Con is that u cant play graphic intensive game, but I believe neither that is the purpose for what we're buying it😅

U told like mirroring really works in a fire stick. But in my phone it never worked without some third party laggy and limited apps. Also fire stick was unable to connect any of my Bluetooth speakers or keyboard. So I returned it and booked a mi box. It has ports that are surely going to connect to speaker and keyboards, and Chromecast will work well both with android and iOS without some third party apps.
Few doubts - 1) Can we install VPN app like NORDVPN on these ? 2) Can we attach Bluetooth keyboard ? 3) Is mirroring possible with MacBook ? 3) Can we use Citrix app ?

Yesterday I bought MI 4K after this video... But I regret for this... 4K remote not function called customer care they told to give an update, but still not working (remote) .. I personally feel Amazon Fire stick is much user friendly and this remote has to synchronized.. But doesn't happen with samsung.... There is no return policy which was bought through MI website... They told me to go service center.. But all centers are closed due to Corona..i am deeply upset over this issue...
Depends on what TV you have. If your TV supports 4K then go with the fire tv stick, but if it only supports 1080p then go with the mi stick as it only supports that reso. But if you want to go on a budget friendly, you can try the mi box too, not too pricey like the fire tv stick, and it supports 4K too.
You were wrong about what you said about the mirroring on Fire TV stick. Just like you did on the Mi box, you can cast your UA-cam on fire TV and use your phone simultaneously for other purposes.

I have a mi TV stick is my other bedroom. An Android TV in the bedroom and the mi box s in the lounge. I have to say the android system built in my 55 inch 4K tv from TCL is the best. Mi box s is also nice and smooth. Mi TV stick has WiFi range issues. So I have to put a mi wifi extender pro to get it to work ok.

Depends on what TV you have. If your TV supports 4K then go with the fire tv stick, but if it only supports 1080p then go with the mi stick as it only supports that reso. But if you want to go on a budget friendly, you can try the mi box too, not too pricey like the fire tv stick, and it supports 4K too.

You were wrong about what you said about the mirroring on Fire TV stick. Just like you did on the Mi box, you can cast your UA-cam on fire TV and use your phone simultaneously for other purposes.

I have a mi TV stick is my other bedroom. An Android TV in the bedroom and the mi box s in the lounge. I have to say the android system built in my 55 inch 4K tv from TCL is the best. Mi box s is also nice and smooth. Mi TV stick has WiFi range issues. So I have to put a mi wifi extender pro to get it to work ok.
@Tech Singh we can connect any bluetooth device like our headphones or soundbars using fire tv stick or Mi tv stick?

Me also sony Bravia smart tv + mi TV stick .. it's awesome because sony TV has in built woofer that like home theatre in built tv. 😂🤣 Or tv has HDR , Dolby vision, Dolby audio everything... So in my case it's awesome 😉
