Yeah I know, I also find him cool and all, but he's still a bit of an asshole in the end. Betraying Claude despite after doing the works he had given to him ( never forget to mention that Salvatore also promised him that he'd make Claude a made man if Claude managed to get his job done ), lying to Toni when he said he was going to give Toni 1 million dollars in exchange for helping him. He's still just an old grumpy old man at the end of the day.

@@agungrowagus957 blame maria for Sal turning on Claude. Sal was extremely paranoid, and when maria said she's having an affair with Claude (they fucking didn't) sal thought Claude is just gonna betray him again. I'd say CJ is also to blame. He was the reason sal became more paranoid after all.

1. Claude arrives and reads the message
2. Claude notices Asuka & Miguel dead but their wallets are safe
3. Claude get them

A lot of people are asking how did Claude get the money when Asuka was dead.
Well... he did steal a lot of SPANK drugs. So... he could of stolen them. xD

I literally can't beat this mission. I don't know why you guys are saying it's so easy whenever I try to beat it Claude jumps off the building and commits suicide. Definitely one of the hardest missions in the entire game.

Miguel told Asuka the information finally, then they were having sex (Just making up something) as a reward for telling the truth, which angered Catalina and killed these two

I keep dying.
When I saw this cutscene, I didn’t even notice asuka dead. I skipped the cutscene as soon as I saw Claude walking off screen. And then when I got to the ending, I was like, well what happened to asuka? Did she just run away? 😂
I also guess that Asuka’s death may became Maria’s downfall. Asuka was the only one who comforted her, cared about her, protected her and treated her like a woman without asking anything in return. And Maria was faithful and loyal to Asuka. I also think that Asuka kind of protected Maria from Claude and kept him a distance from her that he couldn’t just trample her promiscuous but dear best friend. But Claude stabbed Asuka in the back, used her blind trust and it costed her life. A sad end for an interesting character like Asuka Kasen.
And after Asuka’s death Claude may have to think that after Asuka’s death Maria has no one to hide behind, she has nowhere to go, she’s completely defenceless and he can end her “pathetic existence”.

hardest mission ever, i died like 40, it took me like 4 hrs to beat it too..
Alright guys, just gonna clear up some confusion. This "mission" isn't really a mission. It's more of a cut scene. Not sure why Rockstar decided to embed two "mission" names in one mission. In reality, the money and this cut scene is from the mission S.A.M. which is the mission that led up to Catalina's ransom note. Rockstar could have easily prevented this confusion had they not even named this cut scene "Ransom"
Asuka Kasen deserved a better ending IMO. She was a intelligent and powerful Yakuza boss. It was bit like a GTA 4 ending.

Claude in his thoughts: Damn it! I was wanting to do so many things to her in bed. Oh well, at least I still have Maria.

Being a getaway driver for a shoplifter is worse than killing the fucking mayor. So if she gets me more wanted level than killing the mayor, then of course I hate her.
second hardest, you forgot "Love's Disappearance"
Oh my God! It looks like the end of the Kasen Family's Yakuza Gang in Liberty City after 3 years! First, in 1998, Kazuki was killed by Toni Cipriani. Second, Toshiko committed suicide by the window. Then three years later, Kenji was killed by Claude in a Colombian Cartel Cruiser (The Yakuza thought the Colombian Cartel was responsible for killing Kenji, unaware that inside of the vehicle was Claude.). And lastly, Asuka and Miguel were killed by Catalina and her Colombian Cartel Members, who were also responsible for the kidnapping of Maria. So in this game, if you have $500,000 or more, head over Cedar Grove for a final showdown. If you have less than $500,000, take some side missions like taxi or rampages so that you have enough money.
I had to try this at least 7 times before i could beat it 😤
Technically it's not even a mission. In the code it's just a cutscene from the S.A.M. mission just with that little title added to it. Quite odd actually.

If I remember correctly you can play those missions after The Exchange. Though I always do them before it :P
Of course catalina killed Asuka and Miguel, she kidnapped Maria for Claude to show up.
