Thanks for the fun video, and the effort to get something out of the bag for us. Nice work on the Magpie, feel the same way about them here in NZ. cheers and stay safe.
Thanks for digging that one out, Jason, it was great to watch and took me back a few years. The 1st shooting permission I ever had was to knock off crows on standing crops for a local farmer. Exactly as Jason said, that turned into more exciting stuff including goose flighting and duck decoying plus pigeon and walked up shooting. The farmer even used to give me a box of cartridges from time to time if he saw things were going well. I got the permission on his brother's farm after that, too. Annual cost: a couple of bottles of Johnston's Claret!
Cracking watch. Especially the view with the cross hair showing the amount of leed you were giving. Excellent looking gun too. I really fancy a semi auto and I can add that one to i want list.
In ireland we are allowed to still shoot for pest control reasons crop or livestock protection I'm at that every day get a letter off the farmer its seen as a essential service
Could you please tell me the name of the stakes you used to make your hide? I like the hooks and the adjustable nature of the height. Could you also share what camera was used on the shotgun? Thank you for the enjoyable video. Keep up the good work.

Just wanted to let you know I just watched your video on precision rifle shooting iam just put my variation for a 6.5 creedmoor just for deer fox control I've got £1000 to spend what rifle would you go for
Hi Jason thanks for your time to reply to my email iam looking at getting a Vergara b14 hmr in 6.5 creedmoor I will be shooting deer fox and maybe even some long range shooting any thoughts ed
@@edwardsheridan6874 yea that's exactly what I would go for to be honest. I haven't used a rifle as good for that price. They are a fantastic gun and I've had absolutely no issues with mine.
Great video, good to see a bit of pest control. Any chance we could get a gray squirrel video or competition to encourage some control on the grays? It's teaming with them here in Antrim.
Great video, would love to see more of the Benelli, I shoot a Benelli Cordoba myself and I love it! What cartridges were you using there? Perhaps if you are suck for videos next week you could review the gun? All the best and stay safe!
Thanks for the comment! I was using Gamebore Velocity 30g 6. I would review the gun if I could but unfortunately it's in Ireland and I'm in the UK just now.
Lol... 8:48 somebody is going to have to translate for me. I heard, "lovely bird, but dirty flickers all the same; I'll give you that one." I've listened half a dozen times now and it's doing my sweed in... can anybody assist. 😁👍
Nice work lads. I'd had never thought of going right into the farmer's shop area ... obviously go where the birds are ... very interesting watching how other countries/cultures approach hunting / pest control.
Well done Jason, great to see some footage during these strange times, thanks mate.
Thanks Dean, glad you enjoyed it.

Edward Sheridan so many options in that price range. What kinds of weight rifle are you after? Savage, Bergara, Tikka, Remington are all excellent

7:47 ouch indeed😀
‘Someone wearing a somerset hunters hat can shoot crows’ hahaha
It was a little unfair, they've put out some decent videos in the last few months proving they can shoot!
Jason Doyle it was a cheeky pop haha! They’re cracking lads but all in good spirit!

God... seems so obvious now you say it. I was hoping for some sage Irish words... kinda wish I hadn't asked now.
Cheers pal 👍
Great video on a sunny Sunday Jason cheers for that lad. Where abouts in Ireland are you from? I'm up in the North myself.
From Wexford myself!
Were you far away from Dublin area mate
Down in Wexford!
Looks hella fun
What shot number do you use on the crow?
30g no. 6 shot

Nice to see the 1 eye closed when shooting I can't master shooting with 2 eyes opened.
I'm totally left eye dominant so have no option unfortunately!
I take it that Packham influence does not cover Ireland ?
...we hope
What the hell did he say when he picked the magpie lol
Lovely little bird, but dirty fekkers all the same!
I thought he said” this tha durty litta fucker dat been stealing me lucky charms!”.. I could be wrong.. 😂
Probably a stupid question but is it legal to shoot crows in ireland
Yes 👍🏻
Great film but i wish my farmer would allow me to shoot the yard but he doesn't like the noise
Great video Jason, gotta say I love shooting the crows, keep it up
Good shooting as usual, wishing we could get out and shoot some corvids. Stay safe and dig out some more videos 👍
Some of them came down with a very hard 'thud', if the gun didn't kill 'em the impact sure did...lol
Great video lads. I love shooting crows around farmyards. Check out some of my crow shooting videos on my channel
Thank you Antaine, will check yours out!
Yes! Finally! Lol. 👍😬
😊👍
Tidy job jd...
