- This guide will help you get 10 permits per game to complete the Why Cook combat task.
*IMPORTANT NOTE*: Load both cannons with fish at the end of the fight for it to work!
Also, the wave and lightning attacks will not start if Tempoross' energy is 10% or lower, so I think this guide is pretty effective and will help you easily getting this combat task done!

For those of you who were failing it at the end like me, it's because you have to use both cannons at the end. He doesn't do a very good job explaining that in the video, but basically drop your food like he does in the video, and then on your last inventory use it on the south cannon. It needs to use both cannons at the same time in order to do enough damage before the storm auto fails you. I couldn't understand why I kept failing at 16% energy, until I realized both cannons were used.

Man, it freaked me out when I still had 24% essence left and it said that the storm was too powerful. Glad I kept fishing through it. Good clarification.
@@daytman1524 me too lol. I kept watching it, over and over until I finally noticed that detail. And after reading through the comments I realized people were probably suffering from the same thing as me. The rest of the video is perfectly fine, just this little detail wasn't explained.

Got 11 point following along side by side first attempt!! I was averaging 5 points a game before this. Huge upgrade for all of us!! Thanks so much for this seriously
yeah but it matters how fast you are doing the games. you can get 5 points on a 4 min game.... 8 mins for 10 points. is pretty much the same as this method
if u want to do normal runs do 30% each time u hit he boss and cook everything and put out all fires at 30%
I love how this was a raw, play by play guide. Watched it once and then again during my game side by side. Got 11 permits 1st try with just over 9k points. I was in bad timing during the 1st round but adjusted to get 4% shields sometime during the 2nd round. 3rd round with the 2 inventories was a breeze by then.
I tried someone else's fire fighting method guide but he did cuts in the video so it wasn't as comprehensive. Plus this one ensured the max points too. 11/10 guide! subbed
literally doesnt work for me. b2b games I did exactly as he showed and the final storm intensity jumps by 20% at a shot and i fail
@@J05HBR3YI think u need to load both cannons. I think it’s the fire rate of both going at the same time that beats the raging storm at the end.
On mass worlds ppl try and use just 1 cannon each side so the shields go down slower to maximize points (more time to cook). At least that’s what I’ve experienced
I can't do this consistently because my fishing is low. I get more merits within the same time it takes by doing 2 normal games with others than 1 game solo. Because my fishing is low, I can't get full inventories or two inventories near the end, so it f's around with the count and getting the boss to 10% to stop the storms etc.
Finally.. Thank you so much for this guide. Tried a few and none worked for me. I kept failing and never noticed there's an enrage at phase 4. Thanks a lot! You made this look so easy.

Tried this 4 times now and fail everytime near the end. Also getting waves eveytime when you seem to skip them?
Yep exact same thing happens to me. So I genuinely don't know how it's working for everyone else. I'm following it to the letter and am actually slightly ahead of him. I even use the exact same amount of food in the last inventory, not getting a full inventory. But every single time it fails on 16% energy before the last fish can be fired.
@@BroImMcLovin He doesn't explain it in the video, but when you use the last 2 invents of fish you have to put 1 into each cannon. I failed 3 times before noticing that and haven't failed since.

I have been trying this over and over again with failure after failure and was getting frustrated. Thank goodness I found this guide, first try 11 permits and combat task achieved. Very easy guide to follow and KhalRs does such an awesome job in making these guides to help us THANK YOU.
Followed the guide perfectly until I missed the part where you loaded the other cannon. whoops.
You don't need a Dragon harpoon, barb-tail harpoon is also equippable
Best strat is to start the Temperos at the same time as in this video and just follow what he say. :)

Was stuck at 9 tickets for the longest and following your guide side by side with about a 5-10 second delay between your guide and what I was doing got me 11 tickets on the first try!! Legend. Instant sub and like 10/10 Thank you!
for some reason after 3 attempts it doesn't work... last phase where you shoot your 2nd dropped invent, I skip the fase and don't manage to harpoon it the last time :(

i dont get it i followed everything till phase 4 i had 28% left i fished a whole inv and while cooking it energy spiked to 100 and storm intensity too in one shot didnt have time to react and failed :(

Many thanks for this. Watched a few other guides but either I got the timing wrong or only managed 9 permits. First attempt following your method netted me 11 permits, so much appreciated and earned a subscriber :)

Best guide ever, took me a couple of tries, but I read the description and comments to see 10% and lower he doesn't use waves & fire, which was screwing me up because I was leaving him at 15% or so

If you have the spirit outfit, you can replace the rope with the rune pouch and cast humidify if you need to fill buckets of water. That would be faster.
Filling the buckets is pretty time consuming. Better bring my rune pouch instead of a rope and burn gp.

Actually it did. But yes sometimes it jumped weird spots to 100% like for i.e at p4 i got sometimes energy barrier down easy and went vurnerable and boom storm is too.. or hopped like from 50 to 100. Game bug seems. I tried my way first and got 9 looy things kill then failed a ton accidental 9.s some x and boom 11 maby times minus bugs. Ty m8

This does seem a little more straightforward than the strategy that has you fighting fires for 20 minutes. I might give this a try
i dont understand im following just like how you are doing and it keeps saying its getting to strong at the end when im getting the two inv of fish to fire for both cannons

i dont understand why on the last phase tempoross comes back up and the storm intensity fails me...i even was ahead of you on timing. did it twice in a row, did they nerf the solo method????

@@Pimp_Shrimp haven’t tried again since. Only thing I can think of is a slight nerf. On the very last run I would maybe try not doing a full load of fish so you can get to harpooning quicker
@@npipezz I figured it out - it has to be the exact amount he uses in the video (I was doing 1 more). Worked perfectly once I used the same amount of buckets as him haha.

Was at 7.6k needed to do another cycle to get 8k but i guess completeing the challenge isnt alowed cuz he went str8 to 100% storm in 5 seconds. Shluld i just assume im too low level and cant ammas the point yet?

omg before your guide I didn't understand what I was doing wrong but it was cause I used a crystal harpoon, switched it for my infernal one and did this and it was amazing!

This guide isn’t the best. Ideally you want to be fishing at the double fish spot and cooking when a double spot isn’t up
Could you potentially get this to 11-12 points if you used an Infernal Harpoon?
