I couponed years ago when my children were at home to save money. Back then…no digital or social media. Started again recently to help out family, friends and to donate to my church/ charities. Love helping people and the challenge of scoring deals. Thank you for all you do!!!
I do this to save money, and it's fun! I don't run for anything unless it's a freebie; and even then it really depends on what that freebie is. As far as deals go...I've gotten to a point where I don't NEED things and don't want to over buy to the point of wasting or expirations. Unless its a shelf stable item with a few years til expiration...or cleaning supplies etc. I focus on deals now that I NEED, and might buy a small surplus then...but realize the deals will still be there later. Those who have been couponing know the types of things that you can pretty much always get a deal on...
The main reasond i started couponing were 1) to help my family save money and 2) to replace my addiction to alcohol. I think that #2 is similar to doing this for fun. I know, at this point in my life, it's 99.9% for social interactions. Yessss, I'm currently at max capacity on almost everything a person could want or need. I donate and have dabbled in selling too.
I shop for my household and extended family since I'm an "extreme couponer" having excess to local families Kroger accounts. Recently was able to get 36 Cesar dog food trays as a money maker for my grandniece dogs . I also donate & do some reselling to help others in the community.
I got the Morey. Some of the packages had $2 pillies. So if you missed using the kcb and find the pellies, you could still get them for $1.99 each with the pellie and ibotta.
I have 3 kids and a 2 bedroom apt so we are def short on space. My stock is all over my house. I slowed way down on couponing the past year or two. Prices went way up so i wasnt saving as much money and couldnt justify getting things just for the "deal". I try to make sure that i only get things that my immediate family needs/wants if it has a cost. If its free or MM, i cant pass it up. I also donate ALOT. I help out extended family on my side and the hubs side, about 6 different neighbors, and a local church that has a "store" for people in need to shop for free.
I have not fun, but at this point I have whole Obsession with couponing .... according to my husband, he says I am hoarder, even though I am trying not to buy a lot, but its turning ot be to much for him to handle... I also do Walgreens and CVS. Thats it! Not selling or stockpile, just for us... but it is turning kind of more than I should 😕
I might get my bonus because it’s only 18 offers for $5. I already have 11 offers. I’m going to do the Natures way deal, I also have a digital coupon f$1.50 off. I do this to be able to afford groceries and to help feed and take care of tons of cats that keep getting dumped out in my apartment complex. I have 1 cat on purpose who I rescued 16 years ago, now I have 2 more that have been here for 1 and 2 years. One lives outside only, I built a house and insulated it, fixed my whole patio for him. Now there are about 4 more cats here I am feeding with the neighbor. I’m on disability and have an 18 year old son who has autism and can’t work, so we need all the savings we can get. I use the cash back and rebates to buy as much cat food, litter and other non food items as I can. I’m in a 3 bedroom townhouse and use the extra smaller room to store everything. It is getting pretty crammed full and is hard to organize at this point.

Gonna start yard sales next year when my little one is a bit more manageable. Lol. Everyone wins by my couponing. I don't pay for household things from my personal funds. I roll rebate money to pay for everything.
I do it to save money but also more fun than anything because trust me, I have enough of everything. But you know what they say "if its free its for me" 😊
You don't have to split your transactions for the BT. It's up to 5x per receipt so 25 items. Plus if you buy 3 Betty crocker snacks, you get another bonus of .80 cents that also can be done multiple times per receipt.

@@ShoppingwithShana last time I had to deal with them was when we were getting Catalina's for the Velveeta Mac and cheese at Kroger. It didn't print. They said they looked at the transaction and could see that it did print. Honestly, it didn't. So they low-key called me a liar. It was for like 3 bucks. I'm still a lot bit salty about it 😂
Am I the only one or does Kroger take forever to process on Ibotta? Shopped yesterday to finish my weekend warrior and still hasn’t processed. Will I still get my bonus even though it’s replaced today?
@@kathyhackney4738 as long as it's submitted within the time frame of the bonus you will get the bonus. Most of the time mine process within a few minutes. Usually if I have to correct something is when it takes a little longer but never more than 5 or 6 hours.
I only do this for fun. I have a couple boxes every month I fill up and donate. Brings a lot of joy:)

Got multiple whitmor storage shelves in the garage to keep things organized.
