I own a landscaping business in Florida and work in the heat 5 to 6 days a week. I tried LMNT and I feel SO much better when working!!! I have more energy and I love the sparkling ones in the can!!! I have to tell you my latest Winco story! Last week I was there and in the produce section grabbing avocados when my husband texts me saying he’s at the Winco that is in the parking lot of the Credit Union he works at and they had the big container of blue berries for 98 cents and he told me to buy some. So I walk over to where the blueberries are at the store I was at and they were marked $3.98. So I grab the proud guy, who was stocking corn nearby and say, what’s up with the price differ? He said that each Winco store has the authority to drop prices if they have too much over stock, or if it looks like the produce is ripening too quickly and it needs to sell faster, basically they can drop a price if they want or need to for any reason. He wouldn’t give me the same price as what my husband found, so I texted my husband back to tell him. He just went back after work and bought like 10 containers. I washed and froze them and we have been making smoothies with them. I also made blueberry syrup and blueberry pancakes for my granddaughter, she spends Friday nights at our house so mommy and daddy get a date night. Anyway, that’s my Winco story.
Cioppino (chuh pee no) is a fish stew that originated in San Francisco (that brand is made in this area as well, “wine country” California. It’s tomato based and traditionally is packed with clams, mussels, shrimp, fish and Dungeness Crab. That’s a sauce base you would add the seafood to and serve with garlic bread.

Big tip: Costco has $100 Instacart gift cards for $80. We buy one and use it to place our Aldi curbside order. Aldi's instacart prices are same as in store prices (at least at my Aldi store). That's a $20 grocery savings every week.

I love it when people care enough to try to get it right. Your "I'm silently correcting your grammar" t-shirt is one of the things that tempted me to give your videos a chance way back when. An much simpler way to figure it out is to just take the other person/people out of the sentence. Then it becomes "...with I" vs "... with me".

Most women who work out don't have arms that look like Lauren's unless their IN the competition all pumped up and competing. They look sleek and defined during their normal days but don't have super pumped up man arms like Lauren has just walking around the store.

The best tip I found, which I implemented, was shopping the leader sales and going to the two grocery stores here, instead of just one/ and taking full advantage of those leader sales. I literally cut my June grocery bill in half. Yes, I have to go to two stores which is costing me more “time” but I don’t mind grocery shopping and the savings experienced is exciting.

You all are so fortunate to have a store like this, where we are in Florida there is nothing like that. I have searched and search and nothing. It is hard to even get discounts at our Kroger owned store, guess it is because they put it on an island and figure they can charge more being on island. Love watching you and your sister hanging out, you two were cracking me up!
Same on Long Island. Even our discount Hostess shops have closed.

@@AvaMS101 I hate that there are not more around. While I do appreciate her videos, her grocery budget is unrealistic for those of us that don’t have access to stores like she does. I would love to find those deals and only spend $400 a month on groceries.

I scored today at my local grocer. 18 large eggs for $2.20. Sell by date still 2 days away. I eat 2 eggs every day and my dogs eat 15 eggs total for an entire 30 days. Score and some happy dogs. I bought 6 dozen.
Eggs last a long time past the date too.

Lauren and me. Remove the other person and say the sentence to check. For example Lauren went with you so you'd test it by removing her from the sentence. You'd say 'I went shopping' so the answer there is 'Lauren and I went shopping'. If you bought fish stew for your family and for your neighbor who has been craving it, you could say "I bought fish stew for my neighbor and me' (again, test it, remove the neighbor)

@@peggypeters6676 She's bringing up a constant grammar problem. People should have learned this stuff in 7th grade but apparently haven't retained it. She is totally right. Christine asked at the very end which was the right way to say it.
Great technique, and one I recommend a lot! It's so weird to me how people seem to lose all common sense with their grammar simply because there is an "and" involved.
My middle school English teacher taught me this technique. It’s really helpful. It can also be used when wondering if I should say her or she.

German here. Germans love sparkling water aka "Sprudel". Also "Apfelschorle" which is apple juice with sparkling water.
I’ve tasted Sprudel - for some reason it tastes so much better than regular sparkling water 😊

I was an exchange student in Germany when I was a teen and at that time finding still water in Germany was impossible! And my host family wouldn’t let me drink tap water so I got used to Sprudel really quick lol. I still drink it. I like it better than pop. Sometimes I put a tiny bit of juice in it but rarely.

I would be MISERABLE without carbs (pasta, bread, potatoes, rice) or milk. I buy milk 3 or 4 half gallons at a time (whatever my freezer can handle) b/c I go through about a carton per week for just me. You and your sister a so cute together. I had 2 older sisters but both are gone now and I miss them terribly.

My husband needs to eat a fairly high salt diet to compensate for 1000cal BJJ classes 4-5 times/week but was also a bit lousy at drinking enough water because he claimed it gave him headaches if he had more than a liter/day. I started adding salt to his water job before putting it in the fridge for the night and within 3 days, he stopped complaining about the water headaches.

I actually tried the new Bubly Burst this weekend (Peach/Mango) and it was actually not bad.....best sparkling no-sugar water I've tried!

I got a free box of those bbq granola bars. They are mostly peanuts. And if you like peanut butter and bbq sauce together, you might like them. Personally, I found them revolting. Same thing with the white cheddar flavor from that brand. Family hated them too.

Oof, lunch meat is crazy! $14 a pound regular, $7.69 on sale. I’ve been buying spiral sliced ham for $2 and rotisserie chickens for $3.55 on sale for a whole chicken. The other day they had 3 lemon pepper chickens for $2.43 each! I did buy all 3 and froze 2 of them.
We have a grocery store like that called Grocery Outlet. It has some great prices. I love Big Lots for their off the wall imported things. It's fun to try. .

The only discount stores in my area are Grocery Outlets. Their prices tend to be higher than Winco, and definitely higher than Fred Meyer sales. Pretty disappointing.

Unfortunately where I live there are none of those stores. And it’s hit or miss on any discounted meat. I think you have to get up at the crack of dawn to get any discounts. You’re very lucky to have those stores! 😢

I love our Amish and Mennonite discount/salvage stores. Definitely have to watch prices and dates. I don't mind outdated until it's over a year out.

Blackberries are life! I can eat them everyday!
"Chip-E-no" it's a base. Great with Shrimp, Crab Salmon. It's a Portuguese fish stew base. Very popular in San Francisco. Serve with sour dough bread and a crisp salad. A Christmas favorite.

I am not a fan of sparkling water but... that is because carbonation sets off my GERD. Plus I just never liked the flavour of seltzer or flavoured/carbonated water.
I have had Sjogrens syndrome since childhood so I need to drink a lot more than regular people, but I'd still get told I was dehydrated in the ER. It wasn't until 2020 that I was told, by an ER nurse, to swap my waters- 16oz regular water, then electrolyte water. Game changer for a lifelong water lover that tried telling adults to drink more water to feel better.
My local area has Mr. G's. I even did bread deliveries to one of their locations over a decade ago from a little bakery. I haven't been since before the pandemic. It's now on the list for this week! Thanks for the reminder of these great stores.

I haven't had sliced bread in 9 years. I have severe food allergies.i make alternative "bread" chickpea socca flat bread.
Primal Kitchen has a great sugar-free BBQ sauce. I make BBQ shedded chicken thighs in the slow cooker (3lbs, 1 onion, BBQ sauce and a little vinegar, maybe 1/4 cup of coconut sugar) cook for 2.5 hours. Shedd chicken and back in slow cooker 30 minutes.
Just bought a bunch of hand soap refills on clearance at Walmart this morning for 2.97 each! Thought to myself as I was filling up my cart Christine would love this find.
The chick fil a bbq is a sweet honey bbq and I prefer it with fries.
So sweet to see the sisters together ❤ I had my sister and family visiting earlier this summer, and it was two years since last time we saw each other. We had the best time, especially going on a expedition hike just the two of us 😂❤ No idea where we where doing but it was sooo fun and makes me smile when writing here.

I encourage on your next shopping to buy a whole chicken if on sale, here it has been over 100 degrees for over a week even up to 111 degrees so don't want to heat up the kitchen: Glass or microwave Roaster Roasted Chicken in the Micro-wave oven
use clear glass Pamered Chef Poinsettias Oval Roaster
1 whole chicken
1 Tablespoon Olive Oil
SEAONDING MIXTURE:
1 Tablespoon flour
1 teaspoon paprika
1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon pepper
1/2 teaspoon dried thyme leaves
cook in Microwave uncovered 15 minutes while you make the glaze.
In small saucepan warm 1/2 cup Apricot Preserves and 1 Tbsp. vinegar.
Spoon over chicken. Cook in Microwave uncovered for 15 minutes longer or until till chicken reaches 165F.
Oh! Yeah I saw bush’s at dollar tree! They are fantastic beans!

I actually got some salt tablets because i was cramping so bad at night!!! I work outside all day in 97 degree weather and no matter what or how much i drink it doesnt help. The salt tablets help but i don't recommend taking them everyday. Sparkling water is just gross!!!😂😂😂

Salvage grocery stores are truly nonexistent in Northern to Central Ohio. Stores that claim to be are tiny with barely any items. An Amish store was even listed as one! What a joke!! I’ve watched the employees of that store go in to Aldi to get their stock & rebag & reprice for a ridiculously high amount.

San Francisco Bay Area person here. It’s pronounced cho-pee-no. Classic San Francisco tomato-base seafood stew still sold in the old restaurants around here. It’s super yummy! Eat with fresh, warm sourdough bread.
Wild berry pop tarts are THE BEST
I do canned soups often cause it’s just me in my house and they save on not buying a buttload of ingredients and the same meal for weeks on end.
I was so excited to try those savory granola bars because I've absolutely wondered in the past why there aren't savory granola/energy/protein bars on the market. They were sooo gross, and were kinda sweet still. A total swing and a miss.
