- Hello everyone,
Welcome to my Fishing 247 channel. I really appreciate everyone for watching and subscribing to my channel. It means a lot to me.
Today I went albacore fishing with my brother Thomas, Arnold, and my adopted son Luis on Arnold's 23ft Striper. We launched from Pillar Point Harbor/Half Moon Bay and headed southwest between 601 and Half Moon Bay Weather Bouy. We were about 14 miles south of the Weather Bouy. We used different topwater lures, and rigs hand-tied by fishing 24. Each rig has 3 birdies, 3 teasers, and a lure of choice. Trolling speed from 6.5 to 8 mph. Please watch the video to learn how my new rig setup did during this trip.
I had a great day fishing with my brothers.
I love to read all the comments so please leave me a comment and share my video.
Be happy, stay healthy, stay safe, and go fishing or do what you love and enjoy doing. Please appreciate every little thing in life and it will make you happy. Have a great day.

Too long of a jig, Make it half that size
Thanks I am experimenting a lot of things from this trip, from netting to new set up. I adjustes as soon as we struggled with the long leaders and it turned out good. Thanks for your advice.♥️
Brother Thuy, what an unforgettable day out on the water! The Albacore fishing trip was nothing short of spectacular, filled with great moments and incredible company. Having your son Luis as our captain was the perfect bonus-his expertise and care kept us both safe and dry, allowing us to fully enjoy the experience. I’m truly grateful for the memories made and the fantastic day of tuna fishing. Thank you again for making it all possible!
Always have fun and jous fishing with my brothers. Priceless memories to fish with you guys

Arnold and Phil Brothers..... That was a great fishing trip you guys did a good job there.
@@michaelvo966 thanks.
Nice to have met you this past weekend. You always have great energy that makes watching your videos fun and inspirational. You're very informative about your rockfish species. And watching you donate time and money to those less fortunate is warming to the heart. PS my halibut was 38½ inches when I measured it at home. Best wishes Drew. And thanks for the picture.
38 and half is better than 37 and half. Nice to meet you and your wife. Thanks for your kind words. Hope to see you on the water.
Super nice fishing session! Great to see familiar faces! 👍👍👍

In answering the legal take of Sable Fish (aka Black Cod)
Open all-year at all depths
Thanks brother. I want the answer from the game wardens. They should understand the regulations inside out so they can reinforce the rules correctly. They can't do their job correctly if they are not sure about the regulations. If I am 99.9° sure, I will not keep the fish.
@@Fishing247 Good practice!
Nice work! If you don’t mind me asking, when was this? Looks like a lot of fun fishing for them!
Thanks for watching. It was on Saturday.
hey brother, what lb test is the main line usually? and what's the recommended line capacity & drag for the reels to target tuna?
BFT or albacores?
@@Fishing247 Both lol, will you definitely lose a BFT if you were targeting albacore?
@@ANT.LEEEEE my set up for Albacores can handle bft. I used 100 pound braided main and #250 leader and 7x 5/0 treble hooks. I used at least 700 yard main and 30# drag. I caught all 3 big BFT last year on 30# drag. I hope I answered your question.
@@Fishing247 thanks as always anh thuy!
can a small 16 foot aluminum boat do that?
@@dasfirej4597you may be able to do it if you have range and calm day, and buddy up with another boat.
What is your pound test line you use for the main line?
Main line: From 80 to 100. Leaders: 200 to 250
What is your exact location from Pillar point
37°9N 123°1W
CTS tapped out man barely reel and tapped out
Yup. A girl can beat him easily.
How far out?
40 miles southwest of half moon Bay. 14 miles South of the HMB weather Bouy. Thanks for watching.
37*7.262N 123*1.165W
Who uses a net to catch albacore!!? Thuy don’t use a net!! yah baby!! Lose that CTS guy. All he do is laugh and don’t fish lol yah baby!!! I see colors!,
Only Thuy used net for albacores Trovy. I already deleted CTS's phone number. He only eats, sleeps, and 💩 on my boat.
Your leaders are too long
Thanks brother. I am experimenting a few things about catching albacores. I already adjusted the leader after a few catches. I also trying to net too. lol. I like to try different things and learned to make it better. Thanks for your comment.
