It's a good vehicle. Had mine for 2 years and is reliable, I like how it drives. It's not the V8 but it's whatever. Gets me to where I wanna go.
Fair review. I have a 2020 Ecoboost premium and agree the extra for that trim level is worth it. The one I bought has active exhaust which at the time I didn't care about but glad now as the four pipes looks better. I've had several Thunderbirds in my life and wanted to finally get a Mustang, assumed I would buy a GT since can afford it but drove the Eco and was pleasantly surprised. It was aged inventory in April 2021 and too good a value to pass up. I don't drive as much anymore and it's sufficient power for mostly around town or the occasional road trip. Agree about that transmission, it certainly is always hunting. The sport mode does make a greater difference than I would've expected, and I use it frequently. All in all, I'm pleased with the car. Would I rather have a GT? Absolutely, in fact I almost traded last year for the identical car with the V8, but in the end couldn't talk myself into it. The money I saved went into my retirement account, and at 56 that's a thing now. I understand many that have driven European or true high-performance cars will not be overly impressed with the four bang 'Stang, but it's a good compromise for some of us.
Glad you enjoyed the review! Yeah there’s nothing wrong with saving a bit of money and getting the car that still looks good and performs decent. Plus gets pretty good gas mileage too.
I went with the EcoBoost for fuel economy
Makes sense, get the looks of something sporty while u save money on gas ⛽️
If you're worried about fuel economy get a Camry, the mustang Is about fun the V8 does that best and sounds like a proper muscle car....

@@truckercowboyed2638 300 WHP is the sweet spot for a lot of people. We all love 5.0 but it's not something you want to drive 100+ miles every day due to today's gas prices. I'm glad Ford gave us this option!
@@truckercowboyed2638 That's your opinion. Ecoboost is amazing.
Car has good space for my kids in the both seats - Wouldn’t recommended and adult 💀 great power for the 2.3
Makes sense, the back seat is really not made for adults
i mean i’m 5’10 and if you move the seats up a little i have room but if you’re prolly over 6 ft then it gets cramped
I do have an ecoboost 2016 is not big difference in appearance just for the 10 automatic transmission i could think change mine❤
Excited to buy this car or a 2022 ideally soon 💯
I have 2022, and it looks the same!
Hard pressed to call an ecoboost a muscle car. It’s more of a sports car imo considering the fast most people cross shop between this and a 86/Camaro
Also correct me if I’m wrong, but dodge said the won’t make anymore hellcats but I’m pretty sure they are gonna keep the challenger/charger with a smaller engine????
Imo the 10 speed is better mated to the GT V8, it's so rapid fast when you hit the gas
That’s what I hear, can’t wait to review a 10 speed 5.0 and see for myself
The exhaust is not it for me 😭
It sounds like a dyson 🤭
For a daily driver, I'm happy with the HPP, I haven't tuned it yet, but there's tons of room to upgrade, which is a reason that people to buy Mustangs in the first place.
