I don't know about RCCL, but on DCL there's a little button on the shower controls (both temperature and pressure) that will let you increase past the "limit" they have set for safety and water savings. Took me a bit to get it, but now I can take extra hot high pressure showers! 😊
I just saw a video about rouge waves, these are good to watch but that’s all, I am never going on a ocean cruise. River cruise yes probably ocean , definitely not.
Great room tour video Morgan. We love the Jr. Suites when the price is right. However, that coffee maker makes really good coffee (if you like it strong). That's terrible water pressure in the shower. We have never experienced that on the other Oasis class ships. Thanks as always.
Not sure anyone has said this but they solved one problem by causing another. Lowered the pressure intentionally cause they have a 1/3 shower glass. Forces you to get up close. With normal pressure, it probably splashes out onto the floor which is equally if not more annoying! I think I got it!
I'm 100% with you on bathrooms. Stayed in a suite at the W in Barcelona after our cruise. The bathroom was a glass box slightly tinted. You could see the person sitting on the toliet or taking a shower! Double queen room that slept 4. NO PRIVACY! I was w/my sister but still!
Great review. The ugly black hooks on the wall below the TV will have me taking this ship off of my future cruise list. It was bad enough the room looks like it is missing so much storage and the much smaller closet are just more things that would eliminate this ship.
I like the room, but i have to wonder if that water pressure is either some new low flow environmental move or just something broken. I mean I've stayed on the VERY top deck on RCL in suites and never had an issue with the water pressure on other ships.
Ha! We just realized that our Jr Suite on Wonder this June is next door to the one you stayed in. We'll be neighbors (if you don't think about the almost year and a half time difference). Also - Those same bathroom doors are on Icon now and we really enjoyed them over the old latch ones that made a lot of noise.
We just got off the NCL Joy 3 weeks ago. The water pressure in the shower was poor. I have medium length hair and it took 3x the time to rinse it than it does at home. Also, the lip at the bottom was not very high, and even with the poor, slow water flow, the draining was slow and after about 4 or 5 minutes, it was very easy to cause the water to overflow onto the floor, even moving my feet very slowly to try to prevent that.
Hey Hey good morning all the way from Miami love the video that was awesome showing those flaws in the bathroom and personally I'm the kind of person that I like to feel the skin being ripped off my body by the water pressure in the shower with all that said our commercial was a doordash commercial You're awesome you're part of our Sunday morning brunch can't wait to see you in January of all goes well
Hi Morgan, I am interested to know if you have life jackets in your cabin. I sailed on Ovation recently and there were no life jackets in the cabins. I thought it was maritime law to have them in every cabin for any emergency situation where going to a muster station would be impossible.
I honestly can't remember if there were or not! I thought they were always in the closet, but I didn't see any in the video I made of the closet so... ???
Thinking about you quite a bit while we cruised last weekend. The bathroom door Not Morgan or Nancy approved. Cannot close quietly Our water pressure was very strong on deck 10. We lived Wonder
Lower water pressure means it takes forever and a day to wash long/thick hair. Don’t get me wrong, I love long showers but I dislike spending 15 minutes washing my hair 🫠
@@gailcraig4495 The room was very spacious with plenty of storage space. The bed was comfortable and we slept well. There was only a charging point at one side of the bed. Also, I found the bedside tables really small. The bathroom door bothered the whole boat ;-). I found the toilet a bit crammed in between the shower and bathroom cabinet. This was not so comfortabel with my generous buttocks ;-) . Then again, with this buttocks, I had plenty of room in the shower!
This ship was originally built for the Asian market and a Shanghai home port. The pandemic uprooted the line’s agenda and pivoted to the US and European markets. The water pressure is mainly due to usage and controlling the amount of water used. 😊
The water pressure is just like that on Beyond! It was awful! And you didn’t mention the glass door and water flying out and flooding the floor! Yuck! Other than that, what an awesome room!😊
Most of the shots in this video were filmed with the camera and microphone that you can see in the mirror. When I am out and about, I usually just use my iPhone to film!
I definitely don't want to climb over the bathtub edge! At home, we have gotten rid of those high gaps and made the shower a walk in shower. Sooo nice 👍 Why would I pay a good extra money for a suite just to have a bathtub (got rid of it at home, too - once the kids were out of the house) I also do not need such a big balcony. I guess I can save a lot of money by booking a cabin with much lesser "gimmicks" e.g. like that Coffee machine , that are really totally useless for me. Just my 5O cent
What is with cruise ships and huge gaps at the bottom of bathroom doors?? I have to stuff a towel in the gap for some privacy when I’m sailing with my family 🫣🫣🫣
Hi, it’s actually a safety feature. If someone falls in the bathroom and obstructs the door, it can be lifted off its hinges from the outside, allowing access. Hope that helps.
Never had a suite and I don't think I ever would spend the money on one. I don't spend a lot of time in the cabin to begin with especially on warm weather cruises. On a recent cruise we would be out of the cabin by 10am (I would have already got breakfast and come back) and would not return to the cabin, other than to get changed for dinner, until bedtime. A lot of the benefits you get are things I would not use. I don't drink coffee, I would rather go out than eat in the cabins, I certainly dont want butler service I would not use it, I would not feel comfortable asking someone to run me a bath or fold my socks. The larger balcony would be nice on a cold weather cruise however I would prefer an aft cabin to a larger cabin on the side. You can see to both sides of the ship from the back. Just my preferences.
Additional benefit that Morgan didn't mention in this video is that Suite cabins also have access to a private pool deck area and specialty restaurants just for suite guests. Those alone *may* be worth the junior suite price.
NOT in a junior suite. You really miss out on most perks. You may try to make dinner (not lunch or breakfast) reservations to eat in Coastal Kitchen (the private dining room) once on board. Most suite perks are not included with the junior suite. Do your research so you can make an informed decision. ☺️
NCL Breakaway has a deck 13. I didn’t think anything of it till someone on the elevator commented. I wanted to respond that it’s not a US ship and doesn’t have to hold US customs. Unlucky numbers vary based on part of world. I stayed quiet because risking an argument wasn’t worth it.
The glass door on the shower is the worst. It doesn’t cover enough of the shower and you feel the cool breeze while your having a shower.
I agree. Don't understand why not full door that slides
How creative, would not have thought of the robe tie solution

Love the back splash in the bathroom
We bring an over the door plastic pocket rack for bathroom and other stuff. Works great over bathroom doors
We were on 14 on SOS and the water pressure was so strong I loved it.

Great review! 🎉
we were on deck 18 and had plenty of water pressure, maybe the valve inside the wall was not open all the way. Like your honesty as always.
I’m a little obsessed with the magnet door problem now. Could a magnet on the opposite side slow it down? A bandaid or tape over the magnet maybe?
Thanks Morgan for the video
👍
There was an ear pod commercial, done totally in Spanish. 😁 Interesting

Let me know how it is on your cruise next week!
Captain America on D+. & celebrity cruise line.
Being a new ship I would almost guarantee the shower head has a water flow reducer in the line.
Your hair looks great!
Got 2
Bealls shopping and Baerskin hoodies
I always manage to get water on the bathroom floor when I am on cruise not sure what I do. To achieve water on the floor

Did you let someone know about the poor drainage? They can't fix it if they don't know.
Let them know about water pressure on 12th floor.
Maybe you could go to spa area on ship

Hey Nicole, can you give me some quick pros and cons of having a Central Park balcony? I'm going to do a video about that soon.
