I never thought one day I would understand CAD software but your tutorial makes everything understandable. Thank you for your great effort. I truly appreciate.
Thanks. I am an EE that has been using FreeCad for a month to create prototype cases for prototype circuit boards so my direct reports dont break the boards while testing them. FPGA design easy - my mind just doesn't think 3D - it is hard. lol Of all the freecad youtubers, you are have the easiest to understand, most concise and most up to date. No ramblings - just to the point. Thank You.
Thanks, the model disappearing when extruded from sketches that are intersecting had me bluffed for a bit. I’m on what feels my hundredth attempt at transitioning from fusion and this channel plus the new version is looking good. Wrapping my head around the workflow habits and muscle memory is easier with these videos 👍
At 5:23 there seems to be an editing error. Before the diameters of the circles where not set/constrained, but after setting the dimension between the 2 centres, both circles had a dimension of 10.
Hi, I am just getting started on learning how to use FreeCad and I'm finding your videos very helpful, I do have a question that I haven't been able to find an answer for, how do I get that grid pattern to always show is I see in your videos, I found I can have it display if I switch to Draft, but as soon as I go away from that to disappears.
Im modeling with the video to practise some, but at 13:09 the line where the sctech in xy and the one in yz met isn't there for me. They are already merged together. Why is that? Or how do i disable this? Did it exactly like you did in your video and im in v1.0.0
Hi, something is not right, I am using FreeCAD 1.0 and you are using 1.0RC, yours must be different because when you close sketcher your program automatically flips to part design, mine does not, also I cannot figure out why I cannot form the pocket. I pick the surface/face sketch the rectangle on that plane, its fully constrained and when I try to execute pocket I get this message: “Cannot use this command as there is no solid to subtract from. “Ensure that the body contains a feature before attempting a subtractive command.”
Thank you, excellent tutorial. How do you cut one body from another using booleen? I'm trying to design a vacuum hose adaptor, which is to complicated for the thickness tool. Thanks Tim

Thank you!
These basic tutorials are the best.
Excellent tutorial. Thank you for providing detail on how each function operates before demonstrating said function.

Very well done. Thank you for the full explanations as you work, it is so helpful.

Thanks! Glad the videos are helping! Transitioning can be tough, but you'll get the hang of it. Keep experimenting 🚀
Thanks!
Thank you!
Great pace and instruction
I like the simple explanation - Thank you
Thank you 🙂
Que bien explicas!!!. Te felicito y agradezco!!!!.

Thanks for your clips. Could you please make some videos with more than one body? Thank you!

Superb video. Could you tell us what your version is? I'm using 1.0 amd my dark mode doesn’t look quite the same. Thanks.
I'm using the default theme. The dark theme may look slightly different.

How to install this kind of application/software?
Thanks!
Thank you!
