This episode we were still on Main one, but we run Hard 1. Along with the rain in the previous week, it actually rained through the night while we slept. It looks like it was a lot of fun. Some of it was painful to watch though... mainly the breaking off of tail lights parts!! 🤣

      Ya. Soon as we rolled up on that spot I knew. I may try to design something different for tail lights at some point. I don't know who the guy at Toyota was that designed the tail lights of this era trucks, but clearly he's never been on a trail.

      Probably the same guy that designed the tail lights for the Gladiator 🤣

      The mud just kept getting worse! Luckily the carnage was mostly limited after this, but not the mud.

    I recently parted w/my fj and it was hard to watch for a while. I enjoy your vids, the honesty and rawness of them is refreshing. Keep on, keepin on. 🤘🏻.

      I appreciate you watching! I love my FJ, ol janky never let's me down. I have a deposit on a new trailhunter tacoma, but I have yet to see if I'll fit in one. I don't fly the third Gen tacoma, but the 4th Gen is supposed to have more room. We shall see...

    I tend to run around 18psi in my 34’s on my FJ the DBBB area and stay off the highways rather than airing up and down

      Ya, after running that mess a couple days that's what we started doing. I had no idea what we were headed in to, I was just tagging along. Totally went unprepared...

      @@EverymanOverland those can often be the best trips out though. I went down to KY at the beginning of Dec without ANY of my equipment. Just had to make smarter choices and had a blast

    You already saw one vehicle tear tail light up. Why aren't you throwing all those traction boards down in the rut to keep the side from rubbing the wall.???
    Just curious😂 great stuff

    • @EverymanOverland
      @EverymanOverland  6 місяців тому +1

      The mud would have swallowed all the boards. It was so slick and sloppy. We didn't even recover the red lens that imbedded itself in the wall. Just couldn't walk over there.

      @@markspinner7220 plus, the lights on the fj stick out like 3 or 4 feet 😂. I looked at it and just accepted I was going home with one light.
