I just took my driving test today, passed, and did really well. Definitely nervous as I had to wait a long time to take my test increasing my nervousness, but I trained and practiced a lot, so I was able to pass my test. Good luck to everybody else including 'you' who is going to take their test. My heart goes out to all of you.

Update: I PASSED!!! It was a lot easier than I thought. Like what other people have said, the nerves go away the moment you start driving. Also, my DPS examiner was really nice, which helped tremendously. Good luck!!!

@@dbrchived it really isn't, though I live in Oregon, so the "hardest" maneuver I needed to do was backing up along a curb. So really it depends on what state you're in, but as long as you practice and don't stress too much, you'll do great
Did you need any documents to bring after you passed? like a birth certificate or anything? Or just your permit?
@@IDrawToothpicks I took it through a third party since my local dmv wasn't offering the driving test, but with the third party all I needed was my permit

@@Pharomid My dad was my sponsor, and he was in the backseat, I had a left turn to make and my dad said to switch lanes which was a automatic fail. However, I managed to snatch up an appointment aug 5th because someone cancelled and I ended up passing.

For anybody wondering this is the route they take u for the CONCORD DMV ROAD TEST, tweaked on this video and only got a -1 and passed my first try…god bless this channel and anybody else trying to pass that damn test!! So much worries lifted off my shoulders

good luck! i found a video on parallel parking on youtube and now i can do it first time every time.
Passed with a 82! Accidentally hit the curb while parking and went 35 on a 25. I couldn’t see the speed limit sign and luckily my examiner was lenient
I got mines on my 3rd time, the more relaxed you are the better , if u put in the hours driving it’s just a simple drive with a stranger. Really exaggerate that your checking your surroundings and doing all the little things

My test was today and I passed first try! You guys can do it stay confident✅
I just took mine and passed. Take a couple deep breaths before you begin. Don’t overthink it, use the knowledge that you know. Having the mentality of “i’m gonna pass” helps. Make sure you’re making complete stops and be wary of pedestrians, know the right of way and have your SMOG procedure practiced.
(SMOG stands for
Signal, Mirrors, Over the shoulder, and Go.) other than that I fucked up my corner backing and parallel cause I just really suck lol but as long as you don’t hit the curb too forcefully or go over it, you will pass. I got an 82%

I failed 3 times before I passed. Failing is the best thing that can happen to you because that’s how you learn. If I had somehow passed on the first try I probably would have caused an accident because I wasn’t that good.

took my test about an hour ago and did so much better than expected. please don’t be nervous when taking it (i know that’s hard to do) but once you take a deep breath and focus, you’ll do just fine. GOOD LUCK NEW DRIVERS 🥳

I took my test yesterday in Ohio. I passed and what i learned was that building confidence will get you through 70 percent of the course. Make sure you listen to all the instructions and details of the driving examiner.

@@cfnkiy In Ohio, the test is in two sessions, the maneuverability and the main road test.....you need at least 25 points off on both tests to be able to pass the whole driving exam

I'm really happy today, I got my driver's license delivered to my mail. I had my driving test twice and failed both time because I get super anxious!
And I will love to share my steps and tips with y'all.
Try to focus on increasing your confidence levels. First, if you absolutely cannot control your anxiety like I, taking a few deep breaths usually helps in relaxing. Whether that helps or not, I HIGHLY recommend reaching out to a professional dmv attorney that can walk you through the process of skipping the test drive to get your license. Are you worried of failing, Are you worried of being in the vehicle with a stranger? Combo of both? Something else? paying an attorney to do that work is just the best way to overcome your worries and get your license like I do.
Remember
"Practice makes Perfect."
............and there's nothing to worry about if you did it well on your own!

Congrats. I got my written test July 30th, just four days after I turn 16.
The written test is super easy as long as you study well for it. The whole thing is just to test your common knowledge. You’ll do just fine.

@@darkaura7664 I do not remeber the writetn test, the only test I remember for the permit was the multiple choice test and you have to get at least a C on it and I think it has like around 40 questions but I do not remember how many questions it had since I took it a long time ago.

I have my third and final drive test August 19th. I took my entire summer vacation to practice driving. This time, I will get my license. I will show that I'm a defensive and alert driver and I will get my drivers license if it's the last thing I do.

One thing that can be fixed in my opinion is the process of getting a license. The steps of it are a joke and puts unecessary stress on ppl. Cuz u see the written test is mostly point less cuz most of the hard questions it’s not needed to be known just to drive. And the test is nerve racking to some. Instead the way how the process should be is STEP 1 take a drivers Ed which we have and that’s fine. Then STEP 2 should be require a driving instructor to train you through the whole entire process from top to bottom. RATHER then the current system when short temper parents teach and only to deal with immense pressure doing the test. Then the instructor will decide when to pass you, until then the instructor will train you. This would tremendously help with people with anxiety and it will be a more efficient process. It’s a just a suggestion. I wanna know y’all opinions.
