literally, when i was taking my test me and my driver were talking about paletero men, which means basically is icecream men, and the schools we went to when we were younger, it was actually a really good talk, even offered to buy her an icecream from the guy we saw driving lmao

Just passed my test today, under heavy rain, with road markings nearly impossible to make out. To anyone feeling nervous and having some sort of chest-pain sensation, once you get on the vehicle, it will go away.

The examiner sounds so nice, he seems like he actually wants her to pass. I’ve heard from friends and family about their experiences with extremely serious and intimidating examiners. They got so scared that none of their practice mattered when in the end, stress and pressure caused them to fail.
I didn’t care what score I got as long as it meant “passed” 🤣

I just took my test a few hours ago and passed, I just stayed as clam as I could and did the best I could and it was a lot easier to concentrate! (I had the worst anxiety, chest pain and felt really nauseous) if I can pass TRUST ME you can pass too! Best of luck to anyone who is taking their test!!

hey, for all you people who are watching/binging these DMV driving test videos and are preparing for an upcoming test, you got this. Just be prepared and calm and you'll do fine. My biggest recommendation is to drive for a few hours right up until the test, it really helps with driving anxiety :) If it's your first test, sometimes failure can be your biggest advantage for your next one. For anyone feeling nervous - I watched a few of these videos prior to my test and thought there would be too much to remember but I'm now realizing that most of the things mentioned in these videos come very naturally. Just stay confident and think of it as a quick drive around the neighborhood :) you got this!

Just like this girl, I had a conversation with my examiner the entire duration of the test. I thought it was common, but after watching many of these videos it's not as common as I had thought

@@coulsonkyser9757 I imagine that the test is different for every state, and every instructor might be different as well, so keep that in mind. What I messed up on the most consistently was stopping behind the limit line (I have a tendency to stop on it) and not stopping completely. Pay attention that you aren't doing a 'hollywood stop' like I have a bad habit of doing (though I still passed!). Also, make sure that you're constantly looking both ways (with your head so that the instructor can see you) when you pull up to an intersection and before you drive through it. I really recommend watching more of these videos and getting a handle on how the DMV scores driving tests. Get some practice in beforehand once you're familiar with the grading criteria, observe yourself closely.

Confidence is such a big part of your test, I passed my test today and I think it really helped that I had a conversation with my driving examiner, and even made him laugh!
I asked my instructor how his day was going and he deadass ignored me and then failed me for running a red light I stopped for lmao

Went to take my test today, I was reversing in the parallel parking spot and my instructor cut me off and said “ok great job, now pull out and go to the main road”. I didn’t even get to finish parking, then I just had to make 1 right turn, and 5 lefts, another right, and another left. I was stressing that test so much, but it was so easy. So what I’m saying is, please don’t stress your test when you take it. It is so much easier than you think. Hope whoever reads this has an amazing day! And good luck on your test!

@@Kike2000gg I've done it too don't worry it's no problem I recommend striking up a conversation with the instructor can be about anything but it will make it easier for you and hopefully she won't notice if you do something wrong but I had a good instructor

I had a dude and he was so mean. He literally screamed at me for stopping at a stop sign for too long when I had only been stopped for 3 seconds. I still passed but he kept glaring at me

To anyone here about to take their driver's test, I have some advice.
1. Don't be too nervous: This is a cliche but if you're gonna be like me, too nervous to even listen to the instructor and focus on driving, it's not time to take it. I was so nervous I messed up the hand signals! Thank god my instructor was really nice.
2. Unless you're in a city, try to get the earliest time when traffic is light. Also, you'll b the first driver the instructor tests that day, so they for sure are going to be more lenient.
3. Stop watching these videos: I know you think these videos are going to help or help your anxiety, it won't. Trust me. I watched at least 50 of these type of videos with parallel parking. I ended up changing the way I parallel park without even trying, and that came back to bite me in the butt cause I just barely parked correctly on my test. Just know whatever you were taught will pass you.

Passed my test today 12/10/2020 in Jamaica, Queens, NYC. I was nervous and but passed. My main advice is to get a lot of practice, especially with turning and parallel Parking, and remain calm. I almost messed up the Parallel parking, took me a while to correct myself and park correctly. That was in the beginning of the test, which led to me being a little off balance for the rest of the test. It’s best to be like the driver in this video, calm and confident. Anyways, to anyone else about to take the test, you got this!!💪🏾💪🏾💪🏾💪🏾
I just took mine yesterday man when I tell u I was nervous my knees were shaking and I was just so scared I was going to fail but right when I started driving I just focused on staying safe and to just follow the rules of the road , and I passed !! Now and days it’s quick and they are just making sure you are a confident safe driver . Know your hand signals , windshields wipers , blinkers , barking break, etc, just always chin to shoulder check, watch speed , smooth break/ go , left right left before each intersection, full stop at stop sign, always check mirrors, don’t stop past limit line. If you want more tips comment and I will make a video on how to prepare for your test ! ;) Also driving isn’t definitely a privilege! Always be aware of your surroundings and the other drivers ;) good luck to everyone with a test soon !

When I was in my 20s, I failed my driver's test 4 times and gave up. I said I'd never drive again. 15 years later and I have never driven again but I just got my permit and this time I am going to do it. It's going to take a lot of time and a lot of money (75 dollars an hour for private lessons) but I am going to do it!

As mentioned in the video, the key to passing your road test it to be prepared and be confident! Examiners aren't there to stress you out, but first impressions are key in shaping their outlook on the exam. Confidence goes a loooong way, and if you know that you've practiced hard, let your confidence show that!

i just passed my drivers test today!! i was super nervous the whole time (my leg was shaking so bad that we had to sit in the car for a sec for me to regain my composure lmao), but my examiner was so nice! he was really patient with me and said i only missed marks on parking-he said my turns were more “round” than they should be. i just wanted to say watching all these vids really helped me, and i felt a lot more confident going into the test. my only piece of advice is to work on being calm, because it’ll make it 100x easier. good luck everyone!!

@@rodriguez7198 For me, I practiced parking at the DMV where the test was at and familiarized myself with the roads around it for the road test. Practicing in the same car (or a similar sized car) to the one you're planning to take the test in helps a lot for parking. Otherwise, just stay calm and remember the rules of the road.

definitely, here in my scummy town streets are so fking narrow that when driving some of the cars has to wait in the side of the road to give a chance to other cars to pass because there sre cars parked on both sided of the streets. i have no fucking clue why the government and the division that is in charge of traffic does not take care of this massive issues. just to mention there are many intersection with out stoplight, and these intersecs have 8 paths, you cant imagine the quantity of accidents and rage that occurs on these places.
Same in Georgia, my sister drove up to NY to pick up my family for vacation and she hated how much more narrow the streets were.

Its so easy to drive in the US, in the UK with smaller roads there are a ton of things i need to be mindful of constantly scanning for signs, speed limits, round abouts, pedestrians , mirrors.. its hella difficult to pass in the UK

You can see when there are available appointments for the place you want to take your test at on the dmv's online appointment site. I put it at the bottom.
