The create mod was originally an addon for the mighty architect, a mod made by the same dev, the schematicannon and blueprints were one off the first items in the addon, there was allso more blocks ( up untill around 0.4 or somewhere after the original deco blocks got changed ~ most off them ~ )
After this create went into 0.2, which added the rpm mechanic and a few items.
0.3 added much more stuff, around this time the mod became very popular.
0.4 is bassicly just 0.3 but 1.17 and it has a few more items and some stuff is changed.
0.5 added trains and a few stuff, but it removed the fan engine, which was used for stuff where you didnt have much space.
0.5.1 added a few additions, biggest being the elevator pulley, and some other items, including the copycat blocks, wheel thingies, and some more cool doors.
Yes i know most off the history off create, because i had used it since 0.1 when it was an addon for the mighty architect.

Yes, it's a blaze captured in a blaze burner that controls the train. It's generally better than having a mob control the train as mobs can sometimes die or despawn

To be honest, I downloaded the Create mod solely for the nice aesthetics, simplified Redstone mechanics (bless the Redstone Link) and cool trains. This video just opened my eyes, now I'm really excited to try making more complex contraptions.
Awesome video, straight to the point and simple to understand. Thank you very much.

I downloaded it as part of a modpack, and I thought it was just very basic automation and that its unique thing outside of a few micro-gimmicks (like encased fan furnaces) was working gears. How naïve I was

Just recently found your channel. Thanks for all the tips.
Here is a return tip for your train station:
if you name several train stations with the same name but a different number (for example: Melon 1, Melon 2, Melon 3, etc) and in a train schedule you tell the train to go to the station name, but substituting the number for an "*" (in this example it would be Melon *) the train will go the closes available station with that name, regardless of the number, same behaviour as having multiple stations with the same name (same as what you did in your world); whats more, in a siplay that you have conected to a train station (any of the ones that share a name), that shows the arrivals for the station, if you tell it to show the arrivals of the sation name with the number substituted by * (in the example it would be Melon *, and you would need to type it instead of selecting a specific station name), it will display the arrivals for all stations with the same name, and will trat the number as a platform number, and display it along with the information on the rightmost column.

    • @UbersweMinecraft
      @UbersweMinecraft  Рік тому +36

For Create Qbove and Beyond, you can use AE2's autocrafting system to create perfectly secure locks.
All you need to do is get two pieces of paper, name them "Lock ___" and "Unlock ___", create two crafting patterns that says that they can make the other, then hook up the crafting interface to a simple redstone mechanism to swap them.
AE2 comes with a great feature where it can emit a redstone signal depending on how many items are in the system, so pairing this mechanism with that feature and the security terminal makes it impossible for anyone to break into a vault without brute force.

If we could get a tutorial for the 3d printer, that would be great too.
Maybe even with an automation example, had a bit of a crazy idea...

you can also use a blaze burner that's empty with fire in it, OR use one that just has a non fueled blaze burner for smoking.
soul fire can also be done in it if you do the "ignited" empty blaze burner, then right click soul soil on it
lastly, you can use a fueled blaze burner in place of lava. it's safer imo and super satisfying for smoking/haunting

I was stuck on what to make in my Survival world having only automated one resource (crafting of wheat > flour > dough > bread > egg sandwiches from the farmer's delight mod i think?? i also didn't know you could funnel into and out of depots so i ended up putting together a conveyer belt slow enough to keep items in front of fans long enough) and I actually wasn't aware you could transport things in and out of the Nether. Given that I thought this meant you could only make contraptions that relied on infinite lava in the Nether...this changes a lot. :))
