- In this video, we take a deep dive into the capabilities of the new NVIDIA RTX 4090 graphics card by putting it to the test in the popular game Rust. We play the game in 1440P resolution and first-person point of view, showcasing the incredible power of the RTX 4090. We record the FPS and benchmarks while running the game with all settings maxed out, and the results are truly impressive. Watch as we demonstrate the smooth and fluid gameplay and stunning visuals that the RTX 4090 enables, and see why it's the ultimate choice for gamers. Don't miss this in-depth look at the performance of the RTX 4090 in Rust.
GPU - Gigabyte RTX 4090
CPU - Intel I9-13900k
RAM - 32GB DDR5 6000mhz
SSD - 2TB nVme
280mm AIO Water Cooler
PSU - 1000 Watt 90+ - Ігри
I dont know i find that a good cpu helps more with fps than great gpu for this game. Looks super smooth doe.
Yeah the video doesn’t even do it justice. Absolutely stunning with no frame drops or stuttering! However it was using and insane 28gb of ram…
@@youdrop hmm usually sitts around 13ish for me
@@RustyPappa yeah maybe it was because I was recording in 1440p 60fps
wtf i get 100 fps on my 2080ti overclocked lol
My 5900x and 2080ti get the same FPS on the same settings, lol.
Yeah game is not well optimized hahah
@@youdrop I would likely say it’s your pc or the resolution I have a 4080 i5-13600kf 32gb ddr5 and I run ultra everything 1440p 130-150 fps
130 being the lower end I’ve seen it at during big raids
@@youdrop could be your mobo
@@RowdyGG yeah not sure why rust runs so poorly!
What cooling do you have for your 13900k? Also do you remember how high the population was on this server
Its a 280mm AIO water cooler by DEEP COOL. For a cheaper AIO it does the job well and the server was around 80 population! I chose a little bit lower pop so I didnt die during recording haha
@@youdrop thanks for your response
@@youdrop please go on a 500 pop wipe day and post results.
@@revoltncock would be the same thing
@@revoltncock wipe day it's not laggy for me, it becomes after zergs built ther bases
I'm going for the cheapest 7900xtx 2k all at ultra 200fps gpu 97% usage. With an 8-core CPU without having to change it
Sounds great! Keep in mind I also had DLSS off too so there is a lot of extra FPS on the table too!
Don't expect 200fps at 1440p the game is very cpu bottlenecked your gonna have to play at 4k to get that type of fps (I got a 13900k and 4090. The usage never goes above 50% on the gpu and it averages 150-170fps at 1440p only at 4k does it boost up to 200fps
rx 7900 xt 150 fps on max 1440p..what you do wrong?
Idk Either he is lying or using 4k or something
Lol it does not matter what graphics card you have you still cant see through the bushes
You have a bottle neck somewhere. I get 85-105 FPS on my 2080ti in 4k on rust. Unlock your CPU cores probabaly.
Does anyone else doubt the terrible optimization of this game?
Haha yeah ~100FPS isn’t Great for specs like these. Even got an i9-13900k paired with the 4090 😵💫
56ffps pmsl
over
What is that? This is pure scam dude. my friends 4080 taking same fps with 4k max settings???
Keep in mind I am also recording at 1440p 60 FPS which is very taxing on FPS and DLSS is off!
Because rust don’t care about gpu
The game utilizes only 1 core to max...not even devs can fix it, this engine is very bad. Look at your CPU 21-24%, and GPU is working max on 60% so bad... :/. I have AMD 3700x and RTX 3080, for last 2 years and same problem. CPU is max ~50% for me, GPU 50-60... on same resolution as you.
Yep. Most likely we will see a “Rust 2” on a new engine in a few years. Even if this does happen, we will have to go through another 6 years of bug fixing and patches
Sorry to inform you but Rust console looks way better 👌
Haha yeah the video does not do it justice
rust have a poor optimization, even with a 4090 cant get 144 stable fps ...
I get over 200fps with a 3060ti lol
Yeah this is maxed everything with DLSS off so I can get another 30+ there AND im recording at 1440p 60fps so I lose performance there too :P
@@mazzaleeney7304 Yeah I know thats a lie lmao considering I have a strix 3060 ti
@Bslothed rust don't care about gpu, it's all in the cpu
@@mazzaleeney7304 but the 13900k is the best CPU for gaming right now, so theres no way you're getting that many frames on max settings
