Apparently Jae didn’t left DAY6 in bad way and left a door open for a possible reunion on stage. Jae always talked about the guys as his family, they loved each other so much and when he left he said “trust the kids, trust DAY6”. I think problems were others… But again, I don’t want to talk about all of these things anymore. I can't stop laughing when you said Young K is hot cuz istg that man was DANGEROUS in 2015-2017 until he decided to let go of his sexy cold persona, he's just now a smiley supportive uncle on dekira (his radio show)😭 Our drummer boy lovely maknae Dowoon does sing sometimes, it's mostly on bsides tho. He originally got in to jyp as a drummer so he didn't really have to sing unlike the other members who originally came in as a vocal (That's why all of them are main vocals) but Dowoon started taking vocal lessons a few years ago and it's honestly so nice of him, Young K even got touched by that because no one forced him to take vocal lessons, he wanted it himself even though it's fine if he doesn't sing since he originally came in as a drummer anyway🥺 Day6 writes and compose all of their songs since pre debut. Young K writes at least 90% of day6 songs. If you like songs that actually talks about something and not just about love they day6 is just right for you. Day6 are known for their lyrics and I'm not exaggerating, they have every songs for every mood you have lol. Also I don't really wanna talk about the whole Jae issue but I think it's safe to assume that the members are still in good terms with him considering how Jae has always talked fondly of them even after he left the group. He's just distancing himself now from kpop itself because of all his issues so he doesn't talk about the members now. For day6, it's known in kpop that once a member left, they can't really openly talk about that member since they're still under the company but Dowoon has been seen liking some of Jae's ig post in 2023. Wonpil mentioned Jae in his "thanks to" on his Pilmoghraphy album even after Jae left. Jae also commented on Sungjin's ig post when Sungjin just recently made his ig. And there was a recent year end performance of day6 where they performed last for the new year's countdown and so all of the idols including day6 were on the stage watching their performance and there was one part where the fans did the fanchant for days gone by and the usual fanchant goes by "Park Sungjin, Park Jaehyung, Kang Younghyun, Kim Wonpil, Yoon Dowoon" but since Jae left, there was a space after Sungjin's name then continued with Young K's name and you could see the members especially Young K were ijboling so hard you could tell there was no bad blood.

I got to know him bc he hosted idol radio together with youngjae and had some cute vlive moments with bangchan. the stories about him and and other jyp idols are always either hilarious or super cute. plus he's also really talented. I know you sometimes check out leemujin service so I highly recommend his episode 😉 as I get to know them better as a band (all of them are lovely dorks) I'm constantly surprised and overwhelmed by their talent. especially the HARMONIES! they make me levitate. if you ever want to check out more I recommend watching their kiIIing voice and the songs I'll try, Letting Go and I Wait. But tbh all of the songs I've heard so far are great. welcome to the show is their first comeback after military hiatus and jae's depature. the one with the hawaiin shirts was a special mv from the sub-unit called day6 even of day that consists of youngk, wonpil and dowoon. the unit was formed in 2020 when sungjin and jae were on hiatus bc of their mental health and they released two albums.
actually Young K was already in day6 (5live before as an acoustic band) before Bambam was even considered by jyp to debut. Young K had this very bad knee injury that makes it hard for him to dance for a long time, it was so bad he had to visit the hospital one time because it was hurting a lot. And then the major turning factor why he ended up joining the band was because he was bad at acrobatics (in which we all know was a big thing for male jyp groups back then). The day he finally mastered acrobatics, that was when he was asked to join the band instead by the staffs lmao. Sad tho cuz Young K has always been known as one of the top trainees in jyp among their batch (said by the earlier og fans) it was then recently revealed that he really was indeed on the top 3 among jyp trainees. There was a thing before where they compute the scores they get from their monthly evaluations, and the top 3 trainees who got the highest scores will be given the opportunity to be sent in New York to train with some of the best dance, vocals, and rap trainers and Young K was in that top 3, there was even a picture of him in New York on his old ig acc. Considering how talented Young K is, there was no doubt he was gonna debut in got7, it's just sad that the timing wasn't right and he had an injury too. But he fits just so well in day6 and both groups are perfect the way it is now.
This is their first comeback as DAY6 since Jae left & they all completed their military service. There was some sub-unit (Even of Day) stuff without him or Sungjin though.
