- Hello everyone, Today I'm gonna forge Halberd Weapon which is inspired and taken from my favorite game “Celtic Heroes” that is full of adventures and fantasy weapons so it took me very short to chose such a project from there to fabricate it in real life.

We have taken an old, rusty anchor chain and hook from our storeroom and transformed them into a beautiful fantasy halberd weapon through a meticulous process of hand-forging, adhering to precise parameters derived from a 3D model in a video game. The end result is nothing short of astonishing, with the combination of machining and careful sanding yielding a truly exquisite weapon.
This fantasy weapon is affixed to a wooden pole and boasts three razor-sharp blades. The primary blade resembles a short sword and machete, while it is connected to the long shaft by a joint that incorporates two smaller blades, giving it a unique and lethal design. This weapon is truly a masterpiece.
Additionally, we've incorporated an adjustable feature into the midsection of the weapon, providing both increased durability and a superior grip for the wielder. At the tip of the wooden pole, an iron-forged pommel adds the versatility of a stabbing weapon, completing the weapon's construction.
The final touches include a meticulous buffing and mirror-polishing, along with the application of lacquer on the wooden components, enhancing the beauty of this remarkable weapon even further.

Its a beautiful polearm i'll give you that your craftsmanship is incredible, in videogame terms classing this as a "Halberd" makes sense but its closest relative in real life is a Glaive of some sort

What can’t he make, so impressive
Just from the thumbnail I can tell that the weapon is NOT a halberd, but you're making it from a game and that game obviously calls it a halberd even though it's more of a fauchard than a halberd.
I thought it was a glaive.
In China the polearm called a ji is translated as halberd but it wasn't in the European sense of the word . This looks like a dao blade mounted on a pole. It really doesn't matter too much in truth.
@@Qualman701fauchard is probably a french name for the glaive, alongside a couple minor differences in the design. you still are correct

i would have slotted the metal to wood connectors to cover further onto the wood instead of narrowing the wood ends into male pegs, you lose a lot of structural support and possible fracture points at each tip of the wood handle. beautifully crafted overall tho

Okay here the thing: Your blade is a beautiful piece art and you should be proud of yourself for able create such a masterpiece. Now having said that, this weapon is not a halberd. It’s more of a Glaive, Guan Dao, or Bisento at best. This pole arm is more sword than axe. Still, good job on the smithing.
