Very nice video. Really well edited. Could I ask, what is the camera mount / tech that you are using to get the moving camera panning shots? Is that a mass-market camera head?
It's a GoPro Max 360° camera. The panning takes place in post-production... lots of work and computing power but the results are worth it 😎 thanks for watching!!!!
Hi How did you manage to get permission to fly down the Thames. I understood this was for commercial or helicopter only. Did you have to flightplan the route? Great video
You know what they say... once you go Twin... you ain't going back 🤣🤣😃😜🤪 It's a rather rare clearance... some people have said that you can pre-file, but it's really up to Heathrow Radar and the traffic around the area I suppose (including Heathrow and City arrivals/ departures)... so, I count myself lucky to have cameras strapped on... so I can share on UA-cam... makes the City feel really small when traversing at 140kts 😁
Would you mind letting me know what type of camera mount is on top of the port wing of G-NL? Struggling to figure it out, and would like to do some filming myself!
Great vid - fantastic views of all the landmarks - thanks for all the effort needed to make these great quality films!
Thanks for your support David... makes a difference to know that my effort is paying off...
Very scenic flight of London 🇬🇧

You've made the list to come along next time!!! 😁😁 I might have to still be on the left hand seat for this one 😆
Amazing footage!
Thank you. Too bad it was a gloomy day.. a cold bright day would have been perfect!! Roll on Version 2.0!!

@@SaltedFishPilot thanks for your reply :)
Great footage, why do you have the gear down?
for drag.. to have a slower flight over the city...
Nice! I’m based at LCY and seldom get to see the great views of the city itself, unless we are manoeuvring for Rwy 09! 👍🏻
And certainly not at 1,500ft 😂😂
Thanks for watching. Hope you like the 180° over LCY then... do hope all the busyness returns soon!!

Twins are allowed to fly over the City... no FLP per se as the route is to "follow the river".. I just had to ask nicely...
@@SaltedFishPilot sounds like I need to get my twin rating..lol

If one can't afford a twin, then Isle of Dogs is about as far as you can go ua-cam.com/video/49bt8UjOEeY/v-deo.html
