i was totally mesmerized when i first saw this movie in 1973 and i was 10 , i turned on the TV after school and this was just starting and i watched it all the way i like how it’s filmed with no explanations at all i will always remember how the ending made me feel, just a powerful seen with a real sun, and a few birds
I remember catching this when it was shown on BBC 2. Unfortunately, I could not get into THX at the time and turned off halfway through. Having re-watched it on DVD, I now get it. I accept it can be a bit cold and clinical. It’s definitely not a mainstream film, more of a cult one.

This must have been the first time I saw THX 1138.
If you've got any more Moviedrome please put it up.

Hand smy down my favorite George Lucas film. Proto cyber punk. Very cold and clinical like 2001.
Chemical control over drone workers… sounds like “the great reset”.
How to introduce a movie - it's not very good, but watch it anyway!
