Fresh N Fit Debate On Oct 7 And Age Of Consent In Islam w/ Sulaiman Ahmed
►ua-cam.com/video/a1rh7dgwE8g/v-deo.html
This one on FnF was a really good one. It was an actual respectable debate.
Being correct is a "technicality".
I am of the belief that the pro israel narrative is a lost cause purely based on the number of people who are against it and that most of those people are unable to think logically.
To be able to change only a few peoples minds on this issue is a HUGE deal.
To take an approach that should be a common sense approach, but isn't, is the reason I started following you.
It was your 'common sense' position on the kyle Rittenhouse case.
I just wanted to express my appreciation for all of the work you are putting in to these debates.
You are doing a hell of a job trying to convince the Kystal Ball's of this world that up is not down.
@@XDesrathX6 I agree. Excellent debate.
@@murphy2870 Even if it wasn't based in common sense most people seem to ignore that living under Israel's government is significantly better than Hamas.
Israel has a gdp per capita of like 60k, significantly higher than most in the region. Israel doesn't have Sharia law. Islamic law culture is fucking cancer and 98% of Americans wouldn't accept it as a reality in their own life.
It was hilarious when Ryan joked about calling someone "Destiny " while sitting next to someone named Krystal Ball.

I like the idea of a news show where it's one Republican one Democrat but Breaking Points panders to just the most braindead conspiratorial viewer base imaginable and they never actually debate each other, they always just agree on why hurr durr establishment = bad and circle jerk with their audience about how enlightened they all are.
Hahahaha that's a perfect description of them.
It's weird though. The first video I ever saw of them was one where they brought some big pharma guy on to dispel Covid vaccine myths. And apart from being isolationist Krystal is the most vanilla DNC shill in existence, so they're basically just hacks
I think “Horseshoe Theory” would be a better name for the show. It’s just made for populists across the political spectrum to find agreement on their areas of shared stupidity.
@Kyotosomo The concept is good except they usually have a mild-mannered, milque toast Republican like Saagar and screeching, far left progressives like Krystal who just run rough shod over him.
They are appealing to the extremists because....the horseshoe is real
Having watched the debate, I don't think Destiny is really arguing the Israeli position. He's arguing something that is closer to the US gov't's position. The whole part about him pointing out that the Israelis are using the ongoing conflict to seize the West Bank (Judaea and Samaria) is just not something one will typically get from an Israeli. Some Israelis will tend to point out those are disputed territories while a more nationalist Israeli will prioritize stating that those territories are core Israeli territories.
This is how I see it too. Also people on the left moved the goal post for being "pro Palestinian" to the point that he is now considered to be ultra pro Israeli when he's really not..
Well I think this is why people like Destiny. He has some of the least biased takes on topics that you can find of anyone within the political sphere. He's not "pro-Israeli", he's just come to the conclusion that they are clearly more in the right in regards to the conflict. This is why he has no problem criticizing them.
@@abstractdaddy1384also, be more specific, he’s not even arguing that Israel’s history with War is morally correct-just that it makes sense why both sides made the decisions they made.
He’s not against thinking that Israel is more in the morally wrong side of history, just that the things they’re being accused of is inaccurate and leads to their critics being ignored by Israel because if the critics can’t even describe what’s happening why would Israel care about the solutions their critics suggests to them.
Exactly. People (especially in the US) really arent able to argue out of the black/white dichotomy, as if they cant comprehend the variety or spectrum of opinions or positions. Its always left or right, dems or republicans, black or white, israeli or palestinian....
Well yea
The fact that people try and frame the march of return as peaceful is absolutely crazy -
not long after it all started they used to burn fuckloads of tires in order to create smoke screens from which they sent incendiary balloons, get close the the fence and try and shoot soldiers, break the fence and place IEDs on the fence.
They literally placed multiple IEDs on the fence on a weekly basis and used the marches as a way to get close - a notable example was the cynical usage of a flag in order to disguise the IED and injured 3 soldiers that tried to remove the flag.
Another case was when they shot an Israeli sniper from point blank with a pistol becasue he was not allowed to shoot "unarmed civilians".
Why is this titled like a Dhar Mann video
Because ppl click it… and Dhar Mann gets dummy high numbers too 💀

it seems like Destiny wants to argue that Israel has the legal right to do what they do, while his opponents want to argue that Israel is being evil and immoral (two things which could be true at the same time) but nobody ever clarifies which of these is actually being debated at any given moment
How can something be the legal right to do while at the same time be evil?
And furthermore, whenever his israel opponents argue something is evil by israel they always bring in legality as justification.
@@lampad4549 You serious? Legal is objective while evil is more subjective. Slavery. Death sentence for being gay. There are plenty of laws that exist or existed that people consider evil. You can also be legally able to do many evil things through loopholes or advancing technology that the legal system may struggle to keep up with. Legality and morality may be intertwined but they're aren't the same thing.

She would just go with the good old : “yeah but c’mon ! Seriously that’s not true! “
Omg… I think I just had an epiphany… the reason these guys don’t really want to debate on the facts, and only do so when it’s convenient, ultimately, retreating back to their moral differences and always wanting to focus The conversation on morals. is because remember the left is not generally the same as the right when it comes to morals where they believe it’s a top down thing that comes from all powerful being or whatever. most people on the left nearly unanimously agree that morals are subjective so by bringing the argument back to morals and wanting to only argue there. the reason they want to argue there is because you can never beat them there. you cannot beat them in a moral argument because they see Israel killing these Palestinians for any reason. what anyone else would consider justified or not doesn’t matter. Lots of little civilians are dying they don’t like it they see it is morally wrong. Or imperialism or Israel defending itself, or whatever else you wanna call it is morally wrong therefore, they are always in the right, and you cannot argue against them. Because it’s literally no different than someone just saying it’s my opinion bro but they’re trying to normatively load it by pretending that it’s some grand moral discussion that reveals some grand truth.
when in reality they are just disagree based on opinion bro. 🤣 oh my God it all makes so much sense to me now.
It also makes so much sense know where the only ever want to just shout apartheid genocide and other little morally loaded buzzwords like that all the time
Great post, I'm going to make a counter-argument though. I actually think the left and the right aren't opposites here but actually the same. I don't think the left believes morality is subjective at all (though they may say they do).
I think the left and right share a belief in a 'bigger picture conceptual truth' and that individual facts are "getting into the weeds" that detract from the bigger picture truth
An example of this might be, lets say we're in a rainy city, like Manchester or Dublin. Viewed through this lens something might happen on a particular day and we might say it was dry that day and thats why we didn't need an umbrella. But for the grand truth people thats irrelevant, its always raining regardless of whether it actually rained that day or not
Tl;DR required!!!
@@jascu4251 essentially they believe morality is subjective, except their morality is the only correct one.
When they so happen to agree it looks like they all believe in objective morality, but it's really just happen stance, most leftists have a set of values which so happen to align with certain morals, or override their morals when it comes down to optic conflict and they need to be performative to uphold their standing/image as a leftist.
But you'll see the left eat itself alive when they have a modicum of difference in world view because there is no bigger picture written in text like the Bible/quran/torah, there's no rule book on what's correct on the left, it's simply get on the boat or get kicked in the ocean where the most popular (usually anti establishment or revolutionary) idea is the correct one, and anyone who disagrees is an evil being akin to the devil, where they need no serious retort or argument against it because evil people are obviously evil and so the left doesn't need to take them seriously, just ad hom them and laugh about how evil (and stupid) any opposing view is and paint them as a homogeneous boogie man who all believe the same shit.
This is absolutely correct. The Right will always say rape & murder are wrong. The Left will say it depends on if the aggressor is a member of an oppressed group & the victim is an oppressor. If the Right wants to defend a rapist or murderer, they will attempt to redefine the action as not rape or murder but will never openly excuse it the way the Left does.
This is not epiphanous. You're all just undergrad slowbloods.
The "Great March of Return" was an attempt to cross a national border with belligerent intent, by people who are not the citizens of the country they're trying to cross into. That's why it was handled by the IDF, and not by the Israeli police. When you try to cross a border in such a way, and ignore clear instructions to stop, you risk getting shot. That's true for any guarded border. Moreover, on October 7th, many Gazan civilians crossed into Israel following the Hamas fighters. Many of these civilians participated in the atrocities that took place.
No no no! You are making too much sense! Be quiet man the narrative must march on unhindered!

I think you are pretty smart on this topic and deserve a lot more credit than Norman Finkelstein or most people. These people are terrible. I used to think Israel was terrible until hearing you argue.
Israel is terrible, but Destiny is also good. Both can be true.
Does anyone know what program Destiny uses for his notes? It looks very helpful.

@@gokulnaththeboss08 Thank you!

Destiny as a jew i hereby declare you as a jew knight
A master of jew-jitsu.
A Hebrew Hero.
A Davidian Defender.
Hasan is going to cry sooooo much lol
But he still won't get on Piers Morgan with Destiny
How does the March of Return show a desire for a peaceful settlement when it's all about a 1 state solution?
The "Evil halo" on the clickbait to make you understand who's the Sith Lord.
And I agree, Toad is very sharp
Destiny is trying to put the boxing back into debating and it's pretty exciting to see. Him going after each talking head will only make him stronger. Someotimes he will fall short on a subject he doesn't know about but he's good at making them fall on their face whenever he can.
Breaking points got raked in the comments
Have Palestinians non violently protested anywhere?
Even in Arab countries their "protest" usually involves attempted coups.
Aight little d u are actually making sense lately, u almost got me to like and subscribe to u, almost lol. If i do u will be the 1st that ive subscribed or liked in yrs, yes yrs lol. Ive been watching for a long time and im not always on ur side but But, at least i kno that u will research and gove the best answer that u think is for the problems, i admire that, cause usually its about manipulation and ppl tip toe around, i want to thank fpr being a breath of fresh air even tho u ride for the Democratsand i really dislike both sides, but thnk u for being honest and not a dam weasel. Keep it up bro and u will get me to like and subscribe, but not yet thnx little d.
They got crucified in the comments for releasing this preview
Let's be honest they are being "crucified" by destiny fans.
@@dylansevitt the pinned comment about signing up for the paid subscription has 13 likes is telling.
@@jimmylm9894 Why exactly? It has nothing to do with the debate and everything to do with paying actual money. Destiny should teach his fans basic logic and reasoning. Saying that something is telling w/o explaining why is not an argument. It is like saying "There is a reason why x did y" w/o saying what the reason is.
@@Onthebrink5 If you believe that, why bother even asking me to explain it.
@@jimmylm9894 I didn't. it is fact. It is the exact same thing that happens on Destiny's podcast when people have to pay for the third hour. Very simple stuff. "Likes mean everything. I love getting likes they make me feel important because I do not feel important in the real world." i just wrote that song for you.
Has a humanitarian org ever said killing these civilians was fine? If not then what is the value in distinguishing between situations? They're job is to be in the side of civilians regardless of what's going on, but they're not some kind of authority in adjudicating blame in conflict situations.
