306 don’t you dare be discouraged you are FANTASTIC …. You performed this variation with the skill and nuance better than many pros I have seen ..it is ABSURD you were not a prize winner … UNJUST
Number 306 Rei Fukuyama shined in class and her classical variation was stunning! So surprised she didn't make finals! She has so many excellent attributes - clean turns, excellent musicality and detail work, good jump, and expressive!
1000% agree!
I'm so p*ssed about 306 and I don't even follow PDL that closely. She caught my eye because she's an absolute cherub with tons of precision and lightness. I love her strong yet feminine body that challenges some norms and honestly is super delightful. I think they super blew an opportunity to make a statement on this one (granted, I haven't yet watched her contemp). I also watched for Mel but was a little frustrated she never strongly hit the music - her arms flow through every position rather than land them, and I wouldn't chalk that up to artistry. Still love her though.
Rooting for my favorite 306, she is a fire cracker and a breath of fresh air!
304 amazing
306 Outstanding Dancer! 🏆🏆
All the dancers were wonderful, but Melanie's turns amazed me!
Congratulations to Natalie Steele. such a gifted talent and joy to watch
317 brings so much joy to her dancing. i loved 304 contemporary interpretation, something it about how she carried herself really spoke to me.
Well done 304, Melanie McIntyre👏👏👏👏👏👏
304 i love the TECHNIQUE, OMG!!
Paloma's (317) contemporary was absolutely stunning.
Rei Fukuyama (#306) was phenomenal in both her classical and contemporary! I cannot fathom how she didn't make it to the finals, seriously judges! Not only was she technically perfect, she had the strong stage presence and really projected her dances so so well! Can I also mention how amazing her extensions are, most especially her arabesque??? 😍
Wow 315 was beautiful I just wish the tutu skirt had a shorter circumference so we could see her back attitude better from the front!
Brilliant Melanie ❤
Sehr schöne Darbietungen all der jungen Tänzerinnen und Tänzer. Meisterhaft tanzen sie auf sehr hohem Niveau. 👏👏
Yes, my faves 111, 122, 201 and 317 have made it! Congratulations!
43:44 Paloma Livellara Vidart 👏👏👏
Perfect Melanie ❤🎉
All these 17 & 18 yo are so good, I would hate to be a jury member. (Whenever I see the Esmeralda variation, I cannot help thinking of Miko Fogarty 16 yo at the Moscow IBC)
Yes, they're all incredible, what a tough job to be on the jury! 💪
So pleased to see 302, 313 and 417 selected - they've really stood out to me all week
Congratulations to all the finalists! Well deserved
I stopped rooting for a favorite competitor years ago. By doing so, I have never been disappointed in who might be chosen to be in the finals or who the judges pick as a winner 🙂
My favorites are 317 (Paloma) and 302 ❤❤
Congratulations 313 Ruby Day, doing yourself very proud.🇦🇺
Every single entrant deserves to feel so proud of themselves for everything they have done for themselves over their time at the PdL. Good luck for the future to all
Great job to all the dancers! 🤩
Ruby Day’s contemporary had so much breath in it. Also Martinho Lima Santos and Giuseppe Schillaci performances were fabulous as well. Stars in the making
I don't understand why Melanie (304) wasn't chosen to be a finalist. I dont see it. She was so good!
My number 1 pick in each group was selected for the finals (106, 201 and 317), except the Senior Boys. I was shocked 430 - Sebastian Bondar - wasn't picked. He articulated every movement so well. And he seemed equally adept at classical and contemporary. Not to mention he seemed strong enough to lift female dancers. Truly shocking. I had three picks that tied for second place in that group and they all got in. So that was nice to see.
The final performance has happened, but I can't yet find it on this channel. The winners are being shown on Instagram.
317 paloma vidart BRAVO!!!!!
Love the dancers speak in your own languages
All stunning but I preferred the 305s esmerelda version with just a clean double pirouette and nicely placed arabesque over the dancers that did 3-4 turns a little rushed and messy and then trying to do the full back leg extension to hit the tambourine. Sometimes less is more 🫶🏼
🎉BRAVO🎉TO ALL THE BEAUTIFUL YOUNG DANCERS!!!WELL DONE❤
Paloma y Giuseppe lo hicieron increíble 🎉
Un coup de cœur pour 317 Paloma Livarra
Paloma Livellara estuvo preciosisisimaaa ❤❤❤
What beautiful dancing! It would be so fun to see a contemporary solo by Robert garland or Hans van manen next year!!
413 Boy from Portugal 🇵🇹 also very very good .
Go Melanie!!!

Wow! 310!great job!
she's legs so beautiful and lovely dance!
430 Amazing and Elegant Dancer! 🏆
Only people who I thought were really good at it were selected. Congratulations.❤
Hermosa!!
13:12 so beautiful and talented, and just always getting better and better 💎
309 Magnificent and Elegant Dancer!! 🏆
🇦🇷❤ Paloma
Has anyone can tell me why 430 wasn't picked?😢 Thanks a lot.
❤
Serious question. Does practicing ballet make the ladie's necks LOOK longer or does the actual dancing MAKE their necks physically longer? I ask because all women ballet dancers have such BEAUTIFUL LONG NECKS. With all their work on making lines longer and stretched out so far, I could see that elongating the actual neck muscles extend and become longer. I've never seen a ballerina with a short neck... or legs, or arms or...anything. They are just stunning long lines everywhere!❤ please do NOT take this the wrong way. It's a true compliment
Dang I was rooting for 301 but she was always like a half second off with the music in that first portion.
317 🇦🇷💗
The beat #317
MELANIEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!!!!❤ THE BEST ESMERALDA EVERR
These female dancers look 10 years older than they are. The first girl is only 17!😮 she looks 30. I think it's the hair and makeup.. they are all beautiful they just look so much more mature than an average teen ager.
My favorite are : girl 111 🇷🇴 👍🏽 Boy 413 Portugal 🇵🇹
Melaine is just beautiful and elegant from head to her toe
#407❤, @2:30:07
#310 Kailin, beautiful!
Same with 307
I missed who won😮. Was it Melanie?
