Cradle Mountain - Lake St Clair National Park

During the Escape2 Adventure, Julia and I managed to fit in a hike up Cradle Mountain, and despite rough weather predictions were amazed to enjoy one of the most calm, sunny and picturesque days hiking around the lake and up almost to the peak, although dangerous snow prevented us from attempting the last section to the summit.

Noting that your message is published date of 22/12/12 (middle of summer), I am wondering when the trip/video took place? That is, noticed the 'snow' or 'frost' on the foliage/bushes somewhere down near the start, and snow up towards the upper area...
