    Thank you for making this informative video! This tutorial creating a demo board formulates a substantial concept to encourage people getting into the hobby (or even parents) how to build something so basic, they shouldn’t have to buy something that’s been pre-built and save some extra money building something in their own hands. Looking back at my MS-2 demo board I own (bigger demo board lol), I’m very positive creating a system like that is also very inexpensive to build ($400-$700 if a panel or the board w/power supply is included)

    I found the pull system and horn strobe for 10 each as well as a $3 power supply on aliexpress. Ordered the bell cable and electrical boxes for $6 total at home depot, free shipping. Cable connectors were 7 at ace, free pickup. Ordered flooring sample for the wood (may or may not work). If the flooring works, that's a little over 30 total.

    I wonder what that little plastic thing you used for the pullstation wiring is called and some of the specifics on putting the wires in, I do notice how the wire goes in, but it's kinda hard to tell which ones are being connected together. I've always wondered how people provided power for the pull station in that kind of testing setup

    • @FireAlarmDude5967
      @FireAlarmDude5967  Рік тому +1

      Handy boxes come in different sizes. For pull stations, look for the single gang one shown in the video and for alarm devices look for a 4x4 square box. The voltage depends on the alarm, 12 volts will usually be fine for Joey devices
