What's the exact part number you used for the swap? The ISF had a couple TCM versions throughout the years, I figured i should get an earlier one (89535-53010) instead of later ones (53040,53070,53140) but does it matter at all? Thanks in advance
It most definitely shifts faster now , it cuts the throttle during shifts like the ISF so you feel the kick, i hated how soft the tranny shifted stock but i love it now with this
Rr racing didnt do anything, but i got someone whos actually making my tunes now, raising the rev limiter and all sorts of things, ill be uploading some vids soon
@@juancarlos5964 yeah im at 300 to the wheels now, stock ls460 makes about 300 to the wheels and we come with about 40 less crank hp, so thats why i believe im making 370 - 380, im gonna keep getting the tune developed so lets see. And i know my stock intake is definitely holding me back
@@tallboydr2 Thats dope. I have an ISF now but the next car was going to be an LS460. Would love for snappier shifts. Didn't know if the ECM was a plug and play application. Thank's for all the info man!
That’s awesome acceleration!!! How to make the same for LS460? Thanks!
I drive a GS450h and want the 460 now because of this.. 😅
They're all really good cars, i'll be uploading more vids soon of a tune im getting and flybys and etc
450h? Thats pretty uncommon
Jdm Zibby they’re kick ass cars, very reliable, pretty comfortable. The hybrid drivetrain is awesome.
@@godsavemefromgenZ They are, I drive a 2008 450h. I wonder how it keeps up with this 460
Internalocus honestly I wouldn’t be surprised if the 450h keeps up with the V8. It probably would beat it off the line and lose at the top end.

It might or might not, just stick with same year as your GS
Hey Felix, you know if the isf tcu works in the earlier gs430?
It doesnt im afraid
Looking good brother!
Where is the TCU located in the gs460?
Just got my tcu but having a hard time finding info on where it is located. Did u do yours or know where it is?
front of the engine bay, drivers side in a black plastic box. the ECU is also in there next to it.
Pretty quick. What's it doing in the quarter
Not sure, but my guess is mid to low 13s
Video is accelerated. You can tell by the blinker.
🤣I have LED blinkers that make them hyperflash
@@tallboydr2 Mine do that too. Post more of your Lexus Please!
Yea, when you change the bulbs or if there is a bulb dying the blinker will blink faster
Will this bounce of the limiter or does it auto up shift for you?
Need to change that oil
Just wondering what's actually different to you? Does it feel faster? Just hook up better?
Got me interested in doing this to my GS460
It most definitely shifts faster now , it cuts the throttle during shifts like the ISF so you feel the kick, i hated how soft the tranny shifted stock but i love it now with this
@@tallboydr2is it actually any worse for the transmission now? I’m assuming it isn’t going to add any extra wear
Lexus isf tcu? You got on Ebay? Or where did you get it?
Hi Felix, this mod looks awesome. Is this the early isf tcu or the later? I believe they changed parts somewhere along the way?
Oops i see someone already asked this, my bad thanks.
what happened to the rr racing tune
Rr racing didnt do anything, but i got someone whos actually making my tunes now, raising the rev limiter and all sorts of things, ill be uploading some vids soon

@@tallboydr2 yeah that should be around 360-370 crank

Yes sir
@@tallboydr2 Does it rev match on downshifts?

@@d1sturb3d119 you cant swap from an ISF to LS460, only to the GS460, the LS460 uses different connectors
Tf are there paddle shifters on this thing or what?
No. But you can still do manual by sliding to the left
In an ISF the shifts will be faster in the sport mode, is this also the same with the GS460?
Does it shift faster when you switch ECT to sport?
The 460 doesnt have a M mode so it only shifts as quick as the ISF in D mode, i hope one day to have a true Sport mode in the GS
@@tallboydr2 so you can't flip the gear shift lever over into M?
@@mitchellbond1643 you can but it still doesnt shift as fast as ISF in M. The car doesnt recognize it

A magnificent car!
After installing the automatic transmission control unit - coded? stitched? changed the software?
Or did he put it on and go?
Straight plug and play
@@tallboydr2 And how does it behave in the manual? Is the reaction to + and - fast?
Crap, now you got me all interested. Any additional tuning? Error codes? Slipping?
nothing, just plug n' play!

Lmao that V6 delusion is real, it was never faster and never will be.
