- I've had several requests for an updated version of the "If I Weren't A UA-camr" makeup tag, so here it is! This is my minimal routine that, as a best guess, would solve my daily routine with a lot of possibilities, with only a tiny bag of makeup. Could. Irepeat this though experiment across my stash? Absolutely. But these are essentials I could live on and love - likely pan and repurchase - for a long, long time.

I’d love to see a “if a weren’t a UA-camr but a makeup enthusiast” version of this. So a paired down collection with light coverage foundation and a full coverage, a couple different blush shades, maybe a cream and powder hilighter and bronzer

I’m totally down for a powder of longer wearing version of this. I’m an RN and work long shifts and even with my dry skin powder wears longer on me.

Yes! I have a minimal makeup bag and looking to refresh. Lol I got a new ilia blush stick and highlighter to replace my old ones. Need ideas for eyeshadow, I have a kosas liquid one but need variety ha ha but minimal! Lol trying to stick to items I actually wear! I realized I love makeup but barely wear any (even pre-covid) I would go to the office with just a little to look polished and not I just woke up.
Love these small collection videos! I enjoy just having a small collection of makeup, so I like to see people’s pared down favorites. I have one bag of everyday makeup, and then one small bag of extra products that I add in for a more full look!
I would love to see the powder version! I have oily skin so even though I like creams powders tend to work better for me!
The new WA blush in bichette is all the fjords vibes. It’s so good.
Yes the the longer wearing version! I adore creams, but I do use a few powder products in my routine.
I hope in the future Danessa Myricks releases single versions of that blush palette. Like in the same packaging of their bronzers. I never reach for a palette. I’ve tried a few and even if I love the color and formula I always reach for a single.
I've always wanted to try Westman Atelier but that price point hurts my wallet. Also, they came out with a new blush shade that looks divine!

I'm also a virgo and it makes me mad when I have like a million different brands in my collection because every packaging is in a different style 😂 also, I want a solid brand in my collection that I can rely on. But that's less important 😅

@@elrendon6989 oh man I hear you. I think that’s why I’m such a sucker for anything packaged as a set. Like a “flawless in five” (brand shall not be named) kind of thing. Like, I’m super interested in the Merit beauty set... but the awkward blush shape won’t fit in with the rest of my blush stack so it’s a deal breaker haha.

This is crazy similar to what my minimalist makeup bag would be. Different quad, different VB palette, and I would have a fun palette. But I would also have a powder based bag because court and depos and long days where I don't want my makeup to come off on my phone. I would probably have three foundations (and one of them would be Becca zero). I would always have a ton of lip products. Literally exact same cheek products (what I am wearing now). But I would probably try and pan and try and pan a few things. I did before I started watching beauty youtube.

I was the one lamenting over the rosy brown shade in the CT palette! I’m considering checking poshmark for a gently used one bc I truly can’t justify full price for a brand new replacement :(

What brush are you using with your contour and blush? That application was mesmerizing 😳
The CT eyeshadow is the ONLY eye shadow palette I’ve ever purchased. Seriously. I’ve never been into eyeshadow because I have hooded eyes so I always thought what’s the point 🤷🏻♀️. Wearing a mask 😷 inspired me to play up my eyes and this palette is perfection. Great choice. Now cream blush I probably have 30 of those.....
Concealer is the hardest thing to find just based on undertone alone it can ruin under eyes lol. I wore Mac prolongwear for years and finally hit a point last year where i just wanted a wand applicator With so much time it was easier to test different ones and i discovered the PMG & Kosas. I also tried Ga power fabric (not my fave) but it’s a bit too dry now so i mix with kosas. I really want to try the beauty blender concealer but that’s going to be a mission finding a shade.
There's something "posh" about this look. It looks elegant and a bit like high society, but in a good way. Love it 😁
Tools are EVERYTHING! And I relate so hard to the struggle of finding the perfect Concealer. I buy mine 3 at a time!
thank you for showing this! i may have to give the thrive mascara a go. you have a very similar skin tone as me so it makes picking shades a lot easier to narrow down. I'll have to give brown mascara a go

Enjoyed this video! I'm in my late 40s. The Kosas Revealer Concealer works great for me and doesn't emphasize fine lines. I didn't like Exa Foundation; it settled into my enlarged pores and made them look much worse. I'm really interested in Westman Atelier and will try them in the future! Thanks!

When you say you can build up the foundation, are you talking adding thin layers at a time, or just using more product from the getgo? Love your videos as always.

Makeup starter kit for warm toned / golden undertones girl (me)? Maybe do more of these keeping different types of people in mind? Oily / dry / etc
Wait a second, can you revisit that self tanning situation? This is going to sound crazy, but I am stuck in a "Do I self tan or do I not" kind of rut. I've always been tan, then lost it when I started working inside more. So I started self tanning. I'm naturally a light olive skin tone. I by no means think badly of myself when I'm not tan, but I do like having a tan. In the south, it's like it's a requirement to always be tan lol. So anyway, I had no idea that you used to self tan and I want to know your thoughts on the whole situation and how/why you were doing it, and stopped, etc. Wow sounds like an addiction but it's not like that I swear 🤣 Sorry for the long comment!
