i'm just finishing an album and want to add vocals to some of the songs and these plugins change everything. i also want to go in a completely different, experimental-influenced sound on the next project, and i'm really excited to see what these plugins inspire in me. this was an unexpected gift from the baby jesus.
That sounds amazing! Question (which you dont have to share) do you put your music out on any streaming services? I would LOVE to find some new artists for my taste and what a better place then to start in a comment section?
The full version of MiniMeters is insanely worth for the price! And you can visualize basically any possible way of audio, like frequency visualization, stereo imaging, waveform, loudness meter (in LUFS too). I highly recommend anyone to consider it. It has many customization options as well.
Bro... Goyo alone was priceless!!! I used a skit from a TV show in a beat. It had a ton of background office noise in it and this plugin cleaned up that sample like a champ. Thank you very much!!!
No jokes i downloaded 6 plugins that were mentioned in this video. Usually people put complete bullshit in such videous just to gain some views, but these plugins are actually insane... Thank you!
Guess Im gonna need some new plugins Now lol. Also I've beem trying to get some distortion plugin for a long time and Ruina is just what I needed. Thanks a lot
I never comment on anything, but I MUST tell you this experience. I stream and record games occasionally, and my PC is in my room with the air-conditioner at full blast all the time. I'm in Thailand and it's hella hot. I thought I'd try and throw GOYO into OBS and see if my PC could handle it in real time and if it introduced any noticeable audio lag. It. Is. Magic. It uses some CPU, Ryzen 7700 with all my usual plugins sets OBS to 15ish percent CPU and with GOYO it's only a little higher at around 18ish percent. My room now sounds treated and my voice sounds dry! Even though it's a boomy af room!!!! Just try it yourselves!

Oh my god, youre a true goat for this one. Ive been searching plugins for my cheap ass for a long time now and almost every video showed me the same ones or stuff that wouldn't animate me to play around with them. But these... I can see myself just fiddling with them the next few days if not even weeks
It must've been so difficult to keep a straight face throughout the whole GOYO section when you were recording it like damn... A+ gag, you're so epic for this
the freakshow ind. plug ins are so fun, had a hilarious time the other day with my producer homie just exploring the tools (and their website +trailers)
Thank you for this so much, Ruina is the plug in ive been looking for the last 5 years, I love absolute distortion on music, I crank up my shitty speakers so god damn loud, and this finally mimics that effect!!!
Noise engineering makes some great stuff for that kind of flavor! They did some oscillators for the microfreak that got added during one of the firmware updates.
First time viewer, and someone who doesn't listen to whatever genre you make here. Thanks for the tip off to all these plug-ins. Also, I really like the timbre of quite a few of the sounds you have in the tracks you played for the volume normalizing. (Trying to say despite it not being my preferred style, I appreciate it, and what you've put out)
Just wanted to mention that, having run the exe files from the unplug sites (CRMBL, Prisma, and Red Bass specifically) through VirusTotal, it came up with a warning that the exe installers *may be malicious.* Putting the VST3 and Clap files in yielded nothing. I would suggest using the VST3 through Element for stuff like LMMS which doesn't support VST3s natively as the safer option. Cheers! (To be clear, I don't know a lot about these things, but I wanted to post a warning for those who might not either and want to be cautious.)
I bet the ‘doom’ knob in Ruina is trying to emulate ‘doom’ compression, the technique utilized on the Doom soundtrack by Mick Gordon, which I’m pretty sure is an inf:1 ratio, quickest attack and quickest release, he wanted to squash the sound into absolute oblivion for maximum tension.
Doom is a suboctave chorus. We like to describe it as a suboctave generator, but evil: as you turn it up, the suboctave gets louder, but it also detunes.
ended up downloading all of them. this was a really solid list man great work and cheers for putting this together. when I first seen mini metre I was like that's so strange but was just using it in a track then and jesus its soo handy god dayuumm
That GOYO is amazing. Sounds like they could give iZotope something to worry about. Soundly is pretty good, too. I'm finding I like reverbs with character, which is why I like NI's Raum. And I was going to stop downloading more plugins...
Agreed. The developers over at Supertone have some VERY interesting applications that are currently in development phase - their website is going to be *well worth* keeping a regular eye on.
my favorite plugins (they are paid but they are the best) are soundspot because they are streamlined and even work with older VST2 so you can fuck around on cubase 5 or older daws if you are limited to x86
Bro, dude, these are legit something that I need. AND FREE?! God damn, you really can make music for free, mostly. Just pay for ableton or any daw of your choosing and just get some things mentioned in this video, LABs, Vital, & another free synth of your choosing to have a full arsenal in your DAW for free!
Reaper's great and while technically not free, it's stupid cheap, like $60. "you really can make music for free, mostly." Correct. Many people don't understand that you don't really need a pile of money to make music anymore! All you really need is a laptop, headphones and/or speakers, and an interface (some way to get sound into the computer. If you're all in the box, then you don't even need that...). If one is reading this now, you're on a computer, so the rest is academic. The barrier is effectively zero.
R. I. P to GOYO, they're making it paid now 🤦♂️
you had to hype it up 😕
lol great vid though! i better download as many as i can before more start becoming paid

all of these plugins were actually crazy plugins man. unlike most of those `New Crazy Plugin` UA-cam videos
Dont forget analog obsession, great stuff
Goyo is impressive for sure, third example felt a little bit like the voice was trapped inside a can but still very impressive for a free plugin :)
It sounds very much like a conversation inside an anechoic chamver
Then you add extra reverb after 😌😌
