Thanks for the video! Very informative. So I accidentally removed all 4 bolts on the leaf spring clamp (not just the two in the front). I am now having trouble getting them all back in; they appear to be too short. Us there any issue with replacing these with slightly longer bolts? Thanks.
Great video but question. My moms golf cart leaf spring is broken exactly like this. She wants me to replace it for her but she ordered a double leaf spring. Is that going to fit? It looks like a really tight space even for a single.
@@warrenschwartz4592 Maybe the video was 10 minutes long, but what about all the other time that goes into a business transaction. First you are going to call the shop to ask questions like: can you do it, how much and how long. Someone has to stop what they are doing to take your call and answer your questions. Then when you bring in the cart, they have to stop what their doing again to get you checked in and the service ticket started. Then, they will probably have to help you unload your cart, because it barley rolls correctly because the front leaf is broken. I could keep going with this, but I think you get the point. It takes a lot more than ppl realize to run and business and all of the above has a cost to it. My business for instance has a 1 hour minimum charge, even if the actual work only takes 10 min.
Great video. Some tips that really helped. Thank you!
Can I do this with a floor Jack?
Not elevated the way you have it
Great video. Exactly what I needed.

Appreciate the info...
Very well explained. Big E

Bolt in center of spring is to adjust camber. Also, this would be a good time to check/set tire alignment.
Purpose and adjustment of that center bolt and nut??
Is the leaf spring supposed to move from side to side when you are steering the cart?
No. It should not be moving side to side.
I just did this to a golf cart, how much does it cost to have someone replace it.
I would say on average you'd be looking at around $300 to 550 depending on the shop that you take it to.
@@youtubemechanic that’s crazy, isn’t the part only like $100 and you just installed it in 10 minutes
