Sorry I missed this. Did you manage to resolve this issue? Usually for me, it could just be a antenna connection issue, especially if I have just crashed the drone. Please share here if you have found the solution, so that others can also learn from it.
Hi, I just got the mini 4 pro. Total drone newbie. What are some apps do you recommend to download for drone pilots in singapore? I know onemap is for the no fly zone. Any other apps?
Sorry I missed this. Hope the journey has been smooth for you. Actually OneMap is the only app I have, but I also check CAAS website or google Temporary Restricted Area Drone Singapore. Which would normally bring me to CAAS newsrooms for any TRA. They also would email me reminders as I have registered drones in their portal. Hope that helps.
Great videos bro, how do you stay interested and motivated to fly drones in sg despite multiple issues that you encounter with the law? I wanted to buy a drone for the longest time but im just worried about karens complaining and accidentally flying in restricted zones.
Sorry I missed this. Thanks! Its been hard, but the love of the skies keep me going. So i keep things interesting by flying GPS drones and reviewing/testing other tech gear on the channel, but to truly enjoy the skies, DIY FPV drones are the way to go. If I have time, then its out on the field flying freestyle. Else, some time on the sim would do good. I also try to keep content useful for an international audience, so by this I dont feel that my content is no longer relevant. Being part of drone chatgroups on WA also helps as I kinda can keep tabs on whats been going on. They would also share nice places to fly so that too is my motivation, and keeps me away from the "no places to fly legally in SG" mentality. There are nice places, its just whether one is willing to travel. Lucky enough to be in a small country. As a side hobby of RC buggy racing, I do travel to JB and KL to race, and trips there just to find a good racetrack can be hours away. So I consider ourselves lucky to only needing to travel short distances to enjoy our hobby. True that it can get boring, so spice it up by cycling through the different locations shared here and you might find a nice spot to settle down to:
