Jason Doyle and Shooting Show newcomer Will O'Meara are out on the hill after sika hinds and calves. But this isn't just any hunting excursion - it's preparation for a trip to New Zealand later this year. So the boys will be camping on the hill as well as hunting. The guy has no clue. Here in Kansas USA we use the .243 on much bigger deer out to 600 yds sometimes further. A .270 is just warming up at that range and the heavy bullet actually performs better at several times that range. That explains why the bullet zipped right through that second tiny deer
