@@prhawkeye Yea I agree paying 1600-2300 on a monitor that does not improve your productivity (probably even worse compare to bigger size monitors) just make no sense. Most people who are buying the Studio Display just want the aesthetic disregarding the price to performance aspect of it.
@@prhawkeye I just don't know how it can "pay for itself" given that it probably reduces most people productivity compare to a 32 inch or bigger monitor. Also good build quality on a monitor is kinda useless, I don't touch my monitor, it sits in 1 place, I can't really take it with me and show it off, and it lasts just as long as any aluminum monitor lasts. Back to atheistic, to be honest, the back looks clean and nice but the front with the big bezel looks outdated to me.
I guess we are different people. $1600 for a monitor is a lot to me and if I pay that much it better improves my productivity. I am a coder, i use MacBooks and I live in the U.S. by the way.
There is nothing wrong about buying anything. It is your money your choice. Is it a good choice for 99.9% of user?, I am confident to say no.
5k is for media creation so that you can see 4k videos without having to do any scaling in the timeline. Not to mention the contrast of the studio display. These are not even in the same league. If you can’t tell, then you probably don’t have a workflow that makes it appealing.
Incredible Monitor
Thanks so much, I’m trying to reach you by Direct message but can’t. I think you wouldn’t conveniently to ship me in Thailand.
Is it all in one? Or you need a cpu?
The camera can be raised and lowered, not just tilted.
I am actually tempted to buy this... that doesn't happen often :D
😍this is gorgeous!!!
Hi bro I will like u to please help me with this problem, a few weeks ago I bought an Samsung phone and, when I opened it and started to set things up I opened the settings app and it said that the app was not responding, an week later the problem had resolved, can u please help me to what went on?
Is there any kind of adapter to be able to mount this on a VESA mount?
i'm not very techy and sometimes stuff like this is difficult for me to understand so if anyone can help me out, i would definitely appreciate it. i saw it in the video but i just wanted some extra assurance that I can definitely use this as a second monitor to my macbook, right? like, while they're connected, i can have one window open on the mac and another on the m8....right?
yes, you can use it as a second monitor
is this a good monitor for editing ?
Does This smart monitor have google play store? Or other kind App Store?
is it possible to airplay from the device?
Im just saying, you can find this on Amazon in the used acceptable (which has almost always been looking new) for 395 dollars and that is so hard to beat
Is the screen a glossy or matte panel?
This is a beast!
Hi, a quick question does the monitor m8 come with a USB port or will a separate device be necessary for that? Thank you.
It's got a USB type C port.
Interesting product, the stand looks wobby. I prefer the firm stand. Don't know if the arm stand would fit the monitor. Hmm. Anyone know the webcam MP? I seem can't find it in the specs section on Samsung's website. And, oohhh, I like blue! :)
Can you use the webcam part on other devices
I have M7 minitoir. i see M8 improved alot. more goodies calbles, thinner bezel, webcam, improve software.
