Just picked up the same one today but in red. Miss radio shack
I had one of these also!
on the remote control
if u accelerate all the way it gave a greater power output
mines lit up the front and back taillights
Awesome memories I’m 27 now I had one back in 1997
I must have had the 1990 edition of this Radio Shack car as I got it on Christmas of 1990. The car looked just about exactly the same as did the controller, down to the stickers on the car and the sticker on the controller's forward/reverse knob. And as mentioned in the comments earlier it also had a groove at the top of the controller's forward knob that gave it a greater power output. It might have said "Turbo" on the sticker once you put the knob all the way up to the groove at the top, but I could be wrong.
I think I would have tried to chase the squirrel..lol. Nice car. Be cool to see this car race your Ferrari 49. The seem close in speed. But...if it had the turbo that might overtake the little Ferrari 49. Enjoyed the video.
Thanks
Mine isnt having a lotta runtime, which battery do u use?
Yes I had this Lambo
+Ivan Ivonaff Cool- they were pretty popular, sometimes you can get a good deal on eBay? Make sure you buy one that says "tested and works good"- "untested" usually means "Don't Work"
I have this same Countach. My friend dropped mine when it was almost new and it only randomly would work ever since and now after being stored for a decade won't work at all. The controller had 2 throttle positions, 1. regular throttle and if you pressed it up into turbo it went to high, but both my Countaches never consistantly worked in high (turbo) on the video yours is not in turbo
Here is one of the white ones like yours as well as the earlier version (red) from back in 1991-1992 as well as the Ferrari F40 they also made back then doing some pretty remarkable stunts :) ua-cam.com/video/0Y2SZwWAcfs/v-deo.html
