The way this deck goes from a 1/3 Ledger Shredder to looting a dozen cards, drawing up to five cards in hand, removing a threat, and presenting a two turn clock always makes my head spin.
D Silence, but twice the cost, with a very high cost splash color burn attached. I didn't expect High Noon to be so good, even with BIRB as part of the meta. What a cool way for the meta to evolve
I was messing with a high noon deck that played spell queller in the main And it genuinely felt so good to pass to my hopeless opponent and counter their one chance at coming back via a creature
Deafening Silence only prevents noncreature spells, High Noon's more accurately a two-mana Rule of Law. Basically any proactive deck benefits from double-spelling (or more) and High Noon says no to that.
Glistening drake pivot is always so nasty, playing against it becomes almost a levels thing, wondering how much removal you can afford to take out for graveyard hate. This deck is evil but I respect it
glistening drake? no shade, just very curious as to how ‘crackling’ ended up as ‘glistening’ edit: now I wanna play a glistening oil x crackling drake combo deck
Im curious, do you ever ask to see the hand of an opponent like the one in round 1, in order to understand what they were going for, or otherwise learn more on the deck after the match is over?
I firmly believe that if you're playing in the only format where you can run 4x Treasure Cruise and you're not running 4x Treasure Cruise, you're doing it wrong - hence, phoenix is my deck of choice in pioneer :) I love this deck so much, excited to see brian pilot it
just for the record: the arena-only Timeless format allows you to play both 4x t-cruise and 4x dig through time, like pioneer. there’s also probably some community format that allows that too. edit: also worth noting that UNLIKE pioneer, Timeless lets you run them alongside fetches
*BoshNRoll When His Opponent Has Exiled All His Archlight Phoenixes:* Birds aren't real.

Love the rare Pioneer videos :)
I know they aren't great for the metrics but at least you made my day :]
I was literally typing, "nice Foglio SoH" when you brought it up!
my greatest enemy.... counting to seven.
cries in belcher
That green/white taxy style build looks so awesome.
Loved the Selesnya DnT deck. Haven’t seen some of those cards in years

I tried to play this deck on Arena and lost the mirror horrifically. Excited to watch.
i love playing W/X hatebears in any format, but i'd like playing a well balanced pioneer format even more
Watching Bosh so after 4 years of playing Phoenix I can learn how to be good at it
If you lose to Lotus Field, isn't Alpine Moon a decent sideboard option against the big mana decks? Its not amazing but it doesn't cost a lot...
Tree of Perdition combo is wiiiild.

24:27 thoughts on blocking the archon and using Fiery Impulse instead of bouncing it?
41:50 Cry of the Carnarium.
44:30 i didn’t double check the land count. But assuming 20, the odds of hitting 4 lands in a row is around 0.7% (at 48 cards and 15 lands).
41:30 Cry of the carnarium, but absolutely no one runs that.
Delve pack, exile if u got it
Izzet another BNR video? Why yes, yes it is!
thought you meant ‘banned & restricted’ for a minute and was confused lol
bird pack 🦅 CAWWW CAW CAW💨

OR you are playing the deck that counters the deck that plays 4x treasure cruise!

Never even mentioned frog in this video. Sad
I'd cut Ledger Shredder for it if I could.
@@BoshNRoll You could cut Phoenix for it and make no other changes other than lands and the deck would be much much better.
Like and engage since it's Pioneer so i assume the metrics will be bad. But also, this formats butts 😅
