Lol those two ending screams though 😂😂
Headphone users beware! My ears are still ringing.
RIP headphone users
😂😂😂😂😂 You hit such a high note with that scream! 😂😂😂😂
I spit up my drink when Blue asked, "How big of a memory card does this camera have?" lol
Ahahahhh that's adorable 🤣🤣🤣
8 D Batteries and tape cassettes by Intel, lol
Katie getting dragged out of nowhere never fails to creep me the hell out. Not to mention the long silence before Micah gets launched into the camera.
Paranormal Activity 3 is by far the most suspenseful of the series. It made use of a swivel camera that put me on edge throughout.
Agreed. 3 is the best of the OG trilogy.
37:36 and 38:06
Rest in peace, headphones users lol.
I really hope she reacts to the other Paranormal movies, but preferably hold off until Halloween to watch each movie.
You're braver than I. I remember seeing the commercials on TV, and noped out of that noise. I don't do pissed off ghost and paranormal shit after my dumb ass watched The Grudge the next day after a ghost nightmare that had me screaming in my sleep lol.
The Grudge scared the crap out of me at the theater, I think it was one of the last scary movies I willingly watched.
@@andrewlopez1906 Same. Hideous ghost nightmare then going to see that movie the next day fucking altered me lol.
Well Blue, you wanted more physical interaction.😱😁That chicken was vicious!😀Great reactions to the original Paranormal Activity!!!🎬👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽As i remember the scare factor grows with the sequels. Congratulations on your pending 50,000 subscribers anytime now!🎊🎊🎈🎈🎉🎉
It’s not a true story, but they did research on occult stuff, the chicken leg footprints for example are supposedly from a demon named Asmodai in Christian mysticism, and allegedly sprinkling flower on the floor was a way to identify him. Also the movie is basically talking about how possession goes, it starts small and creates conflict between people as one person gets obsessed (Micha here) while the other gets increasing bad stuff over time.
The girly screams at the end 😂😂😂
Hearing Trixy shriek twice at the end... totally worth it, lol.
37:36 Didn't think your voice could go that high. 😁
First time I saw thus I was babysitting my 10yearold nephew at one of the ghost scenes the automatic air spray went off right over my head and scared the hell out of me 🤣
Chicken foot prints ?? He’s jumbo size and he wears a disguise but he’s not a man; he’s chicken boo 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣😂😂🤣🤣🤣😂😂🤣🤣🤣🤣😂🤣🤣🤣😂🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
27:38 "its just a chicken" lol.
Imagine being their neighbors. Also, they never turn on the lights. Seriously would be the first thing anyone does.
My friends and I used to work at a haunted trail every Halloween season and after we got paid we would go watch these in theaters. It was awesome. I love jump scares!
Found footage flicks are 50/50 for me and this one wasn't bad. Didn't need several sequels though. Sometimes it's cool to keep it at 1.
Well technically the third one is a prequel, and the marked ones is a spin-off, and the paramount+ original film is a different continuity.
"She's going to be in some weird position.....like in the fridge or something" Omg, Blue, thats hilarious 🤣🤣Lmao!
Blue: Every time I anticipate something bad I'm just going to smile. That should work.
Blue has the most painful, forced smile on her face I think I've ever seen.
There is a reason I love your reactions... :)
Ok after that reaction at the end... I really want you to see the other installments of this franchise. 🤣😈
Hey Blue - there actually IS a parody of this movie called "A Haunted House" with Marlon Wayans. It's pretty hilarious.
Movies scare when when they involve ghost and or demons. That’s because I believe in those things and those are things you can do little to protect yourself from. You have more of a chance to fight off someone with a knife or something than you do something you can’t even see or feels.
I first saw this movie on my second deployment to Iraq. I remember watching this and freaking out in the tent waking my battle buddies up. This movie is on my top 5 scariest movies. Scariest part was when she was getting pulled out of bed. Her screams was sooooo believable!
Love your reactions.
Your reactions give me so much joy. Definitely makes the nights better. Thanks girl!
BLUE HIT THE HIGH NOTE WITH HER SCREAMS!
A pretty normal reaction to paranormal activity. 😉 Fun watching someone else freak out to this. 👹
Back when less was more
Fighting causes negative energy and spirits feed on negativity. So the more they fight the stronger it gets.
I noticed, during playback, that your R2D2 pillow moved by itself about 1 centimeter.
Chickens are scary honestly. 🐥
I like how you were getting blase and then I hear the most high pitched scream ever I didn't know sounds like that were possible.
"Who leaves the door open"
Who doesn't? Do people usually sleep with their doors shut?
36:03 But that's how these things (apparently) work. They don't jump out in a full physical manifestation and eat your face. They feed on terror, stress, fear, and interaction. All of the things this entity was doing to them for the whole movie weakened them until they were easily controlled. Some people believe that people who suffering from intense depression and exhaustion are actually dealing with an entity that has latched onto their life and is slowly sucking them dry.
Here you were all "IM NOT SCARED" and then you made me go deaf with those shrieks. lol.
"I feel safe with my hands here."
Two seconds later - the screamiest screams in all of reactordom 😆
37:36 wow that scream, twice LOL
So is it weird that I nearly never close my bedroom door when I sleep?
37:34 That was CLASSIC by Trixy
No security pillows were harmed
in the watching of this movie.
My lord.. those screams😆😆
The power of the pumpkin pillow compels you! The power of the pumpkin pillow compels you!
I was fully expecting those two end screams when the demon slammed and banged on their door 😂 that was 100% me the first time I saw this movie in theaters
The sequels are worth checking out. At least the next 2.
bruh did u know there was a newer paranormal activity movie??? yea it apparently released some time last year, and it sucked ass
"I'm not scared anymore"
I would never understand why people think it is a good idea to play with an ouija board when you already know you have a haunting in your house. Do you think that playing with the ouija board and opening a pathway for the spirit is going to make it better. RIP headphone users. LOL.
My fav parts are those you are hiding with your pillow xD always a pleasure Trix!
I, personally, find the 2nd one more interesting, but you do need to see the first one for it to make sense. The 3rd is also directly related to this one, and I find it a bit more interesting than the 1st one, as well.
00:00 "Hey guys, I'm Blue..."
ME: "Dabba-dee-dabba-die..."
Yay! this is one of my fav series and its so underrated. The 1st & 5th are my all time favs.
Steven Spielberg was a consultant on this movie, giving the director advice on how to make the perfect jumpscare.
Could the wife be an older Carol-Ann the evil Kane version from Poltergeist 3... ??
The movie is loosely based on a Shakespeare play mixed with wholesale parts stolen from Rocky
For the record, I sleep with my bedroom door open. It's normal.
LOL THE 2 ENDING SCREAMS!
You did your hair really cute today, or maybe I'm just a sucker for pig tails lol 😀
For me the least believable part of this movie is that any guy, much less a day trader, would leave their wallet on the counter in the kitchen overnight.
If I saw paranormal things throwing stuff around, my wallet would not leave my bedroom because I would expect to wake up to burning money and melted cards.
37:36 38:06 love those screams
The whole movie was a slow build tease to get you at the end, and boy did it get you (awesome scream ;-)
LOL HER FACE IN THE THUMBNAIL!
I dig this movie, but my favorite horror movies are probably the Shinning, Insidious, the Conjuring and The Thing (1982)
Love the reaction OMG!!
That scream was so amazing! Lol.
Hey...Trixie.......my doors open.....
Lol you were married to that pillow watching that open door!
this is a type of low budget filmmaking called "Cinéma vérité." its used in documentaries, 40s film noire and the 50s french "new-wave" to create the illusion of realism. it employs camera shaking or movement with actor improvisation to give the impression of a "home" movie.
and its perfect for low budget films because a huge, expensive crew isn't needed. "the blair witch project," a film i don't like, used this technique in the late 90s. it cost like $100,000 to produce and raked in millions at the box office. much like this film which i think is an excellent film.
you are just the cutest young lady. you crack me up. i could turn you on to many other classic, "must-see" horror films. or classic non-horror films for that matter. just ask.
I have a brother-in-law who's a low-budget producer and cinematographer (among many other things), he cannot STAND what he calls "shaky camera". He won't even watch a movie that uses it, no matter how good the movie is.
@@dr.burtgummerfan439 ... i agree with your brother-in-law to a point. Cinéma vérité should be used sparingly and only to denote a particular message to the viewer. i've seen movies that use it throughout the entire movie. to the point of making me dizzy and nauseous. i say, "pick a shot and hold it for 5 seconds. is that too much to ask?" its definsately over used these days. but i don't think it was too extreme in this film. they mix it up pretty good. there's a lot of static shots in this film. which makes it easier and more enjoyable for me to watch.
@@cjmacq-vg8um He refused to even watch The Blair Witch Project 😆
@@dr.burtgummerfan439 ... i only watched it a few months ago on youtube and i didn't like it much. i didn't even watch the whole thing. "the blair witch project" isn't a movie i'd recommend.
This is the beauty of found footage horror, you question whether the film events are actually real.
Best scream ever!
I think you'd make a terrific demonologist, Blue. Maybe you could combine your skills and be a demonologist/ interior decorator, working daylight hours only.
Trixy: I'm gonna fight it with a pillow, that's what I'm gonna do
Me: Hey, you never know, it might work. At night we sleep with our feet under the covers and the monster under the bed doesn't catch us
There IS a story arc that continues from this film across the sequels (at least the first 4), so you may as well go all-in, lol...
[2009-OCT-16] PARANORMAL ACTIVITY
[2010-OCT-22] PARANORMAL ACTIVITY 2
[2011-OCT-11] PARANORMAL ACTIVITY 3
[2012-OCT-19] PARANORMAL ACTIVITY 4
[2014-JAN-03] PARANORMAL ACTIVITY : THE MARKED ONES
[2015-OCT-23] PARANORMAL ACTIVITY : THE GHOST DIMENSIONS
[2021-OCT-29] PARANORMAL ACTIVITY : NEXT OF KIN
lived in this motel and I used to taunt a ghost living there. It just felt like it I don't know. I used to taunt it like this guy and one day I woke up and there was this ball of what was like TV snow and it was suffocating me and then loomed in the corner. Made it aware that I wasn't in charge or it was just a dream. I don't have a clue but I don't ever insult anything spiritual because we don't know where or what they are yet.
I don't care if Halloween is over. You HAVE TO watch The Thing from 1982. And I want to hear you scream for real at that one.
SHE SHOULD REACT TO THE OTHER PARANORMAL ACTIVITY MOVIES!
You did a great reaction 😂 loved the way you got scared lol !!!!! So cool when you said I’m shaking lol 😆 great !!!!!
i think that was the first time i heard someone screaming that loud in a reaction... maybe because i usually don't watch reaction of horror/scary movies :P
for me Paranormal Activity 2 is the best one, and the most realistic interms of the use of camera, and acting..
I really enjoy these movies. #3 is a particular favorite.
You have.... the best... scream... ever
The "just smile" idea was great!
🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
Also, nice scream!
Maybe give Grave Encounters a try..?
It has more "activity". 😇
This was the scariest movie ever for me. Lots of mixed opinions on it out there though. I almost walked out of the theater when I saw this because it freaked me out that bad. I loved The Exorcist and Hellraiser, but this one really got me.
You should check Martyrs (2008)
i saw this alone in the dark at 3am and didn't sleep for like a week
I feel you, Trixy… Same feels, especially the end of this movie…
I've seen that final scene before and knew it was coming. I still freaking jumped...LOL
You called me out, I was laughing. Sorry, it was funny.
I love this movie, but Micah might be the most infuriating movie character of all time.
Today I learned that Blue has a very sharp high pitched real scream.
I've never watched one of these movies, but that thumbnail screams "watch me" 😄
Themed studio setup looking good as well.
Your initial usage of the word "flown" was correct. I suspect you learned this word in school as the past participle of "to fly." But, it probably sounded weird to you when you said it because most people (at least in the US--which would reflect in the American films and media that you consume) use it incorrectly and would probably have said "has flew." This is true even among educated people, who might know the correct usage, but don't want to sound strange to those around them.
"Her English is too good, he said, that clearly indicates that she is foreign."
My Fair Lady
The screams made it worth it
The door kept shut they would have been safe lol
Tempus fugit...time flies, indeed.
My Marvel vs DC UA-cam Show would give you so many Heart Attacks
8:15 "I hate the noise of stomp stomp stomp"...ohhh dis gon be good hahaha
When I saw the film in theaters, I accidentally dropped a water bottle and that freaked some in the audience out and I was totally embarassed.
it's not a mug, it's a steak sandwich
No not fiction it's a true story just like the conjuring movies
I saw this movie when it first came out in 2009 and it was a great experience. So low budget and it made A TON OF MONEY!
Part 2 and 3 are pretty good
My wife and I at the time, saw this in theaters, and drove 25 minutes to watch it.. after the movie it was a very quiet ride home. Turned on EVERY single light on in the house when we got home Lol
NEXT PLEASE : 1. EVIL DEAD 2013!! 2. HEREDITARY 3. REC
I did not consider this as an horror movie, but especially she standing besides the bed for couple of hours terrified me. BTW, in the version I watched, she killed herself buy cutting her own throat at the end.
Blair Witch Project was interesting but it kind of ruined found footage horror/thriller for me. "Cloverfield" got me back onboard to that type of movie. I was thrilled with Paranormal Activity not scared.
Cloverfield is hugely underrated. It's probably the best first-person thriller out there
Yes it was an ostrich or chicken that killed them, you figured it out 😅😕😭
I get where you're coming from. The "slasher"-type movies, the Final Destinations... they're creepy but they don't actually scare me and never have. Those types of things are disturbing but they just aren't a threat in your day-to-day life. Supernatural horror, OTOH, is something else. There is enough of a body of evidence concerning demon possession and the paranormal that the rational person laughs it off at his or her peril. I have a friend that still refuses to watch The Exorcist: "I ain't watching that sh*t, that sh*t can happen!"
The chicken just wants to cuddle 😂😂😂
