Great. In my opinion this is your shop and these are your videos. I appreciate all you are doing and how intelligent you are.
You're doing it the right way Buddy, get yourself set up with everything the way you want it before you pull the plug and retire. I've found you either have the time, or you have the money, but not at the same time. So spend the money first, then enjoy the time!
I love that radio! I have had that radio for 7 years now, and nothing has gone wrong with it, and I use it every day! Congratulations from LB1NH 🙂
Great video Buddy , always interesting , no matter what the topic , I always lear something !
Hi Buddy , well my face lit up a big smile when I saw the ICOM on the box. Im an Icom guy and I own 2 IC-7300'S , You will not be disapointed, Good luck with the new toy hope it brings you many QSO'S.... I just celebrated my tenth year of retirement,
I must warn you after retirement you will be busier then ever. hi hi Take care Buddy keep up the great work 73.....
Looks like you got some nice equipment. I would like to see one repair video per week. When you work harder, more viewers will join or use Patreon.
I Have a Yaesu Ft-991 But I Really Want a Icom IC-7300 But If Wishes Was Fishes as They Say.. Very Nice Radio !
4:09....I prefer cool in the summer and heated in the winter 😂.
The radio looks great.
First day of retirement, take the Misses out for breakfast and don't rush home. Thanks for the video.
I love my 7300
Buddy... congratulations on several things:
1 the new radio. I love my 7300 and DONT get to use it as much as I like to.
2. Your imminent retirement. I was sort of "forced" into retirement by an untimely layoff back in August. It has its concerns.... but I am getting used to it... and am getting ready to start whipping my repair bench AND RADIO bench into shape. I hope that yours is comfortable when you decide to take that plunge
Well big brother... good to hear from you. Please note we have over the years included you in our family of radio friends to follow. Thanks for stopping by and keeping us in the loop... stay well my friend...
That's a good radio and I use mine daily. I like the old radio line up on your operating bench. Thanks for sharing
I'm jealous. I want one of those radios but I'm one of them poor folk. It's a beauty. I hope you enjoy it.
I'm looking forward to seeing more of your videos after your retirement. 👍🏻
Congrats on getting yourself the 7300! There great rigs , as for your content I think most of us are good with whatever you share with us , looking forward to more from you
Wow! A brand new radio. It’s Christmas all over again. Very nice looking unit too. I love it. 👍
That's a beautiful shack you got there. Greetings from Allentown Pennsylvania.
Hi Buddy and thanks for the video. Congrats on the brand-new addition to your station. I retired about 7 years ago in 2016. Wow, love your collection of radios. Yup, your auto-focus seems to have cleared up the video problem and the audio is now up to par with your normal good audio. 73 DE K7RMJ FRANK
That’s a beautiful radio there, Buddy. Congratulations! To be sure, I love all your content, the tube stuff as well as the modern electronics. Your videos are always a pleasure to watch!
Congratulations!. I guessed that it was probably an IC-7300 the moment I saw the word Icom on the inner box :). I don't have such a rig, but I've operated one at a friend's house for a couple of hours. Nice radio, good choice for you. I opted to stay with my trusty IC-745 instead for ham comms and an SDRPlay RSPdx for general listening.
Have fun with the new rig Buddy.
Great video. I've personally learned a lot from you. I've been able to restore many radio's from Collins S line equipment to yes, a Hammarlund HQ 140X. Thanks from Ottawa IL!!
Just watching a video about you think about your new layout is do an audio check first because although that's a very quiet aircon unit if you're got your microphones that close you might get wind noise and also why not putting an overhead cameras you look straight down on your item just thoughts for you while changing room
I love your radio repair and alignment videos. Not only do I enjoy them but I always learn from them and always look forward to them. Thank you so much.
I was on the waiting list for a 7300 when they came out and bought an apache labs sdr instead, but it's a great radio. Great to see you posting more videos! 73, Tom k2bew
Excellent choice on the 7300!
Congrats on the new radio Buddy...same one my YL KL0SS has on the other side of our shack. TNX for the operating desk view as well very nice...those Kenwood Twins are looking good! 😉 73 - Dino KL0S
That 7300 is my wife's favorite radio she would get on ours after I'd go to work and make contacts all over
I love my TS-940S too ?
Wow what a Nice Radio. I am not sure but I think I use to sell to you electronics when I worked for a company called Lesco Distributing. I could be mistaken but my memory is not as good as it use to be. Love your videos. God Bless.
Nice
