I love crocheting sweet baby blankets for charities...and this one is definitely going into my collection. I prefer the simpler patterns, because I thunk they show off the yarn, and colors... and they are easier on my eyes (I have glaucoma)... I love that this darling blanket is reversible, too. Thanks!

Like you said, my shells were curling. I didn't like the triple crochet, so I change my hook to one size larger and it looks great. I worked in a solid color and it is beautiful!
